Wow! Sherway Farm holiday cottages are in a rural location, with views that are absolutely stunning. They have been renovated to an extremely high standard, and offer everything you could possibly need, and more. The owners have thought of everything, and were welcoming, and very friendly. We stayed in the Coach house, which has three double bedrooms, all ensuite. The bathroom with the master bedroom, has a free standing roll top bath, separate shower, toilet and basin. The other bathrooms have a shower cubicle, toilet and basin. The very large window, floor to ceiling, in the master bedroom, allows you to wake up to beautiful views, the owners have even placed binoculars at the windows, to enhance the view, and take in the wildlife. All the bedrooms have built in wardrobes, flat screen tv, and beds are made up before arrival, and towels are provided. Also provided were robes and extra towels for the hot tub! (Each of the three cottages has its own hot tub).
The large family kitchen in the coach house, opens out onto a beautiful terrace with table and seating for 6. There is also a large table in the kitchen, a dishwasher (dishwasher tablets provided), a fridge freezer, and is fully equipped with everything you need. There is a beautiful, cosy lounge, with two sofas and an arm chair, flat screen TV, DVD player etc. They also have a communal utility room should you need it!
On arrival, we found 4 pints of milk, a large carton of orange juice, and a large bottle of water in the fridge. Tea and coffee also provided, and a lovely welcome on the kitchen table...fresh flowers, a homemade lemon drizzle cake, crisps, a bottle of prosecco, and sweets and drinks for the children, along with a personal Thank you card. There were even toiletries in all of the bathrooms.
It's a real home from home, and we cannot recommend Sherway farm highly enough. Absolutely perfect. We will definitely be going back.
Last minute three night break in The Coach House. Beautifully renovated to an excellent standard . Very well equipped with everything you would have at home. Welcomed by the lovely owners Karen and Gary, who couldn't do enough for us, welcome pack par excellence, proscecco, cake, sweets for the children etc. Outside the cottage is a superb 6 seater hot tub to relax in and survey the panoramic views whilst sipping a glass of wine. Very peaceful, and secluded, no noise apart from birds singing. Would love to return, and stay in The Dairy, the smaller cottage, which is all on one level, so easier for disabled husband.
Great place, awesome views and Amazing hosts.
Hot tub under stars with a glass of sparkling was the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing weekend away with friends.
