Owner description: Take this extraordinary glimpse into the beloved holiday home of the famous and much-loved author Agatha Christie and her family. The relaxed and atmospheric house is set in the 1950s, and contains many of the family's collections, including archaeology, Tunbridgeware, silver, botanical china and books. Outside you can explore the large and romantic woodland garden, with a restored vinery, wild edges and rare plantings, which drifts down the hillside towards the sparkling Dart estuary.

This was a fascinating glimpse into the life of Agatha Christie.

From the 'chauffeur' that took us from the car park to the house (aka a lovely man in a golf cart), to the cafe, the birds, the architecture, the views over the River Dart, the interesting and informative guides, the eclectic collections within the house, and the floral display that was just beginning to bloom...

Very much a must-see place for Agatha Christie fans and nature lovers alike.

This is the ideal choice for all those people who love Agatha Christie. It's in a breathtaking position on the river Dart and with each room you just feel you might just bump into the owner

We took a boat ride from Dartmouth to Greenway, such a relaxing way to arrive at this unique house.

The timed tour wasn't at all rushed, it just allows for a sensible number of people to be moving through the house comfortably.

An eclectic collection made over many years by Agatha Cristie is a joy to see and the house still has that lived in feel to it.

Beautiful gardens to enjoy, wear sensible shoes as some of the ground is uneven.

Altogether the house and grounds take you to a time gone by, when life was lived at a different pace to the rushed one we live today.

We had a lovely day at greenway - we are members of National Trust and had not visited before. We booked parking ahead of arriving (essential). Kids loved the treasure hunts (inside the house and outside) and the staff were great (the piano player in the drawing room was amazing). We had a picnic overlooking the Dart and found a pond full of frogs! Great day out.
