“Cosy cottage, perfect location.”
Reviewed April 19, 2013 for a stay in March 2013

The cottage is lovely and equipped and maintained to a high standard. It is in a great location. It was quiet and only minutes walking from the centre of Dartmouth. The weather was mixed so it was good to have the benefit of the log fire for those days when we returned soaked! Mark was really helpful throughout the booking process.

“Delightful cottage, great location!”
Reviewed June 26, 2012 for a stay in June 2012

We booked this cottage very last minute which was available due to a cancellation. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us recommendations for eating places, things to see, walks etc and the cottage housed lots of leaflets to plan your days. The cottage was lovely and we considered ourselves very lucky to have secured it as a last minute booking. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything you could want and the decor was light and very tasteful. Location was excellent for accessing the main town. All in all a good find and whilst we had never visited Dartmouth before, it certainly whetted our appetite for a return at some stage and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone visiting the area.

Many thanks for such a kind review. I think in many ways it sums up exactly what we try to offer our guests which is a combination of a great place to stay, in a great seaside town, with a service to match. Very much hope you return and visit us again one day. Thank You!

“fantastic new year week”
Reviewed January 22, 2012 for a stay in December 2011

Had a fantastic week taking in new year, felt at home straight away, just a 10 minute stroll to the front, very helpful owner where nothing was to much trouble when contacting him, would highly recommend Dartmouth and Fishermans, Did not stray very far at all as Salcombe, Blackpool sands and many other nice places close by.Dartmouth good for pubs and eating out, would recommend Alf rescos and Rockfish fish and chips,so good we tried them both twice.

“We loved Fishermans!”
Reviewed December 26, 2011 for a stay in December 2011

We have just come back from a marvellous week at Fishermans in Dartmouth. The cottage was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. It's location was also a draw for us as it's in the heart of Dartmouth, just minutes walk away from great restaurants, walks and shops, so we had a couple of car-free days. Parking was not a problem at all at this time of year and we always found a space just round the corner!

Mark, the Owner, was extremely helpful and gave us lots of information for things to do in the area - Slapton Sands was great as was Woodlands Leisure Park. Also, the recommendation for a workshop at Made It in Smith Street was perfect as we booked a Charm Bracelet making course, which was great!

Thanks for a fabulous stay!

“Comfortable, Cosy & Welcoming”
Reviewed October 17, 2011 for a stay in October 2011

Dartmouth is a delightful place to visit and an excellent base for exploring South Devon straight from your door step. We had several car-free days. Our positive experiences of our first holiday in Dartmouth were certainly influenced by the cottage we stayed in - Fisherman's. This cosy cottage has it all. It is full of character, yet light and airy with a modern feel. The very friendly and helpful owners have put a lot of thought into furnishing and equipping the cottage which really offers everything you could possibly need. Two outside sitting areas, no traffic noise and only a pleasant stroll away from the town centre. We would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and hope to return one day soon.

“Wonderful bolt-hole for a relaxing break.”
Reviewed October 9, 2011 for a stay in October 2011

The warm and cosy atmosphere in this cottage is seductive - you have to force yourself outdoors to experience the delights of Dartmouth, which are all within a good walking distance. We've just had our best UK holiday ever here thanks to the owners thoughtful information and tips. The only thing to be aware of, if you want to use your car a lot, is that you do not have on-site parking and need to walk a little to retrieve your vehicle BUT the owners do provide a parking pass for the local car-park, which is only 5 minutes away.

Thank you for providing such a charming and comfortable cottage in this lovely location.

Thank you for a kind and helpful review. It confirms what we know - that Dartmouth is a great place at any time of year and in any weather. And Fisherman's is the right place to enjoy it! With a brand new 'A' rated boiler the house will be greener and even warmer for the next heating season. A great place for Christmas maybe?
