Description: Set alongside the beautiful river dart in the estuary at Dartmouth, The Floating Bridge is the latest addition to the Quality Inns portfolio. When on your Devon holiday, be sure to visit this quaint old fashioned pub. Enjoy the warm atmosphere in the bar or restaurant, or why not sit by the river and watch the boats in the Marina or the Higher Ferry transporting the cars to Kingswear. Relax with a glass of wine or Pimm's, why not try the fresh crab salad!

Really enjoyed the food here. Ate here twice whilst on Dartmouth. Great location by the Higher Ferry, good value food and the large battered fish is certainly very large.

Re service, friendly but bar staff and time for food to be served seemed to take longer than needed at busy time.

Ate here after a days Kayaking, it was very very welcome! Good beer, good choice of dishes all cooked and presented well. Really great staff, very friendly, helpful and obliging.
Sat outside by the ferry and all were entertained by a shoal of Mackerel feeding on the small fry! My daughter caught a Mackerel with her bare hands, the staff obligingly prepared and cooked it for her! They were busy but it did not seem to be a problem to them.
Would definitely go again.

Terrific location over looking the upper ferry and the river Dart. A varied menu from snacks to full meals. The service was friendly and efficient. The portions were generous and food quality was excellent, no one should leave hungry.

Went to pub which was not that full. We found a table, and by the time we got back to the bar to order our food, there was a huge queue. Ordered our food, which eventually arrived over an hour later. They did warn us there was delay, but certainly not that long. It would have been nice if they had to come to the table to apologise for the delay, but nothing. When were received our food, it was very nice and tasty. Rather expensive but good tasting food none the less.

We liked; good menu, tasty food, real ales and Cranberry juice! Spacious tables and friendly staff. No need to book. Lots of outdoor seating with a great view. Clean and well managed.

Drinks, 2 pints and 2 liqueur coffees £18.20!!
