“relaxing break in the valley”

Stayed with a family group of 19 so had the mill and 2 of the cottages, Tracey was also happy for 2 people to stay in their small campervan. Beautiful countryside and gorgeous views for walking. Easy access to Tintagel and Boscastle for shopping. Would recommend Trebarwith Strand for body boarding as long as you check the tides as there is no beach at high tide. The mill itself and the cottages were beautifully maintained as was the garden and stream. In the mill you can still see all the mill workings which was very interesting and a great design feature especially in the kitchen and one of the twin rooms. Plenty of space around the large kitchen table for family meals and very comfy beds. There was a cream tea to meet us on arrival which was very welcome after the long drive. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay whatever the weather (wood burning stoves making it cosy for the winter) the variety of cottage sizes making it a great place for groups of varying numbers.

“Idyllic Mill in secluded valley - close to cliffs, rocky beaches and shops”
Reviewed August 5, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

With an easy walk to the sea, magnificent views and cliff walks with exciting routes to uncrowded beaches, this is the perfect spot for a Cornish holiday. The kids enjoyed surfing lessons and coasteering and we all body surfed and ate pasties and icecream.

Tastefully decorated - cosy, yet airy and bright. Some lovely touches...interesting books and lots of videos.

Great outdoor area with lovely table to sit at with enough lawn for football and croquet.

Practical with everything you need.

Austrian family loved it and the dog her best holiday yet.

We plan to return.

“Lovely location”

This place feels like home for us. Trevillett Mill will provide everything you may need during your stay. The kitchen is well equipped and ample, utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and spare fridge - freezer also proved handy.
The bedrooms are also very spacious and cosy. Lots of little touches that really makes you feel welcomed. There is lots of space inside as well as outside. So even if you arrive with larger group, you won`t feel cramped.
The house is full of nooks and crannies witch added a lots of charm. Since the new owners
Bedlinen its good quality too (I always bring my own but I didn't feel I need it there). You will have to bring your own towels as they aren`t provided.
Anyway, this is the place I would STRONGLY recommend to everyone including my closest friends and family as it`s magnificent. It has amazing atmosphere where you can relax and forget about everyday rush. Cornwall wouldn`t be the same without Trevillett Mill in Rocky Valley.

“Perfect place for a large group”

This place surpassed all our expectations, full of character (a lot of the original mill workings are cleverly left exposed in a bedroom and the main living area), with all mod cons, warm and cosy despite it being a very chilly weekend. Tracy the hostess is a star. It's in a fantastic location, lots of opportunity for lovely walks without needing the car. Loads of beautiful places nearby to visit. Will definitely go back.

“Outstanding accommodation and location from which to discover the allure of North Cornwall.”

Trevillett Mill is set in a secluded and tranquil location yet is in easy reach of local amenities. There is direct access to the footpath along Rocky Valley that takes you to some stunning views of the coastline. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped with some lovely homely touches and we were made to feel very welcome. It is worth a visit just for the pleasure of the crisp white bed linen. There is a decking area in the garden where we enjoyed sitting out every evening and the use of a BBQ. From my experience I can thoroughly recommend this property and am confident you wont be disappointed.

“An historic and beautiful place as a base from which to explore North Cornwall.”
Reviewed August 13, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We were a group of eight who stayed at Trevillett Mill for a week and had a marvelous time. The house is huge, comfortable and lovely with everything provided except food and towels. There was a playroom full of toys for the two small children with us as for any day we decided to stay in. The house is situated in stunningly beautiful Rocky Valley and well within reach of many beaches, sights, villages and historic places in the area. There was even a traditional Cornish cream tea awaiting us when we checked in.
