We decided to try a takeaway from here as wanted something different to pub food and fish/chips. We had 3 pizzas and linguine arrabiata. The kids tell me the pizzas were great and the arrabiata was very nice. Portions were reasonable and the price was ok. Only 1 family in there when I visited so lacked a bit of atmosphere but I would certainly look to eat in if I had the chance.

Definitely authentic italian food and would recommend.

Thank Farndy

Although we went at the end of September when most seasonal places are frankly winding down, and the staff in shops and restaurants are grumpy and bored, this place was like a breath of fresh air...
Very helpful and freindly staff, you would think it was their opening night.Great tasty Italian food ,pasta and sauces cooked to perfection, thin crust pizzas and nice cool Italian white wine. I Just hope they are appreciated in that area...
As for Tintagel itself...Oh dear; mystic tat, only a dillusional fantasist would spend much time here(ask the locals).

Although there was a relatively small choice on the menu the Italian food we had was genuinely Italian, freshly cooked, very tasty, hot and well presented. The cold meat platter starter was plentiful, and the chicken and ham linguine was well-cooked and tasted excellent. The garlic bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping sauce as a side-dish is recommended. There was a "Daily Specials" board available as well as normal menu items, and a takeaway service is available for the range of pizzas on sale. The wine list was not extensive but there was a good choice on it. The dining area was small, but clean and well-decorated. Service was good, but a little marred by the glum expression of the waiter, although he was very polite and helpful to us throughout the meal. Dog-friendly for "well-behaved" dogs! Although the restaurant was not busy when we visited - we had a reservation - it would be worth making a reservation in the summer as the restaurant appears to be very busy in the evening. Thoroughly recommended.

We had two delicious meals at the Olive Garden in Tintagel recently. Both the Calamari and Cold Meat platter starters were presented simply, but impressively tasty and the Garlic Bread was simply the BEST I have ever had. My pasta dish with meatballs in a spicy sauce was YUMMIE and the seafood linguine my husband choose was also very more-ish. The wine list is not too long, or too pricy, but offers a good selection. We met and were served by the owner, who was a delightful chap with a great relaxed courteous manner. I would certainly highly recommend this place for great food, super atmosphere and fair pricing!!

We arrived just before 7 on a busy summer Thursday evening and were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked. By just after 7 it was full.

The smoked fish platter was fresh and nicely presented and just enough for two.

The main course pizza was fully loaded and tasty as was the lasagne which was a struggle to finish.

We had no room for dessert. :(

Very tasty food, good attentive service.

Would visit again, but will book!
