Make sure you get an information radio though.....apparently they are free but we weren't offered one, so unfortunately we didn't get the full experience!! The castle though is superb, the location delightful and the fact the kids and dogs are welcome was a massive plus :0), well worth the £14.

We loved the feel of the castle. The beautiful roundedness of it, the battlements overlooking the sea. Really felt the atmosphere here.An amazing and historic place to visit and the staff were happy and helpful. The brochures on sale cover St. Mawes Castle and also Pendennis in Falmouth so, nice to do both.
