What sets this B&B apart is the owner's obvious pride in and enthusiasm for their business - a wonderful place to stay in a gorgeous area. I am not used to using so many superlatives but in this case they are deserved!

We stayed for just 2 nights and the experience surpassed many 5 star hotels. Marc and Barbara have built something rather special at their home. The food was exquisite and the very high quality of furnishings etc. cannot fail to delight you. Their attention to detail has earnt them the no. 1 B and B rating on trip advisor in St. Mawes area--we endorse this. Everything was perfect for me but my husband would have preferred to not have to sit with another couple at breakfast(just a very small point) and we realise this is purely personal to us. Thankyou both for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed staying in this very comfortably and tastefully furnished B&B for a fortnight and wish to thank our friendly and ever so caring hosts Barbara and Marc.

Their Roseland location is simply beautiful, their house quiet, the bedroom and amenities excellent, breakfast was gorgeous, diverse and plentyful. They have created a home of luxury and good humour there. Moreover you find an unintrusive recycling is being provided and renewable energy is installed (solar panels).

There are various easy trips for walking along the scenic coast, or you might love to visit the various gardens nearby or e.g. the bay of St. Mawes or the New Art Gallery in Portscatho. What more can you ask for when you are looking for a top class breakaway? We would love to come back.

We actually stayed in one of the self-catering barns but as I like to add to Tripadviser everytime we visit somewhere, felt compelled to add how we found our experience of this amazing place, even though we weren't B & B. This is a little gem in the middle of the countryside overlooking the Roseland Peninsula. There are 2 B & B rooms and 3 self-catering barns. The accommodation is far superior to most we have experienced and there are lots of places to visit and things to do around and about. It is a great base from which to explore. Barbara and Mark are the perfect hosts and they clearly love their job and want to ensure that you enjoy your stay, so if you enjoy staying in a home from home, you should seriously consider Roundhouse Barn. They are really into sustainability and a greener way of living which is great to see too. You won't be disappointed.

Booked by internet for a wedding we were attending locally, this stay beats any other B&B ever.

The warmest of greetings, freshly baked scones and coffee on arrival, Barbara & Mark made us feel welcomed immediately. Their cottages and B&B rooms are like no other when you think of english B&B.

Amazing bedrooms, delicious food, great gardens in immaculate condition, sun loungers, quite seating areas abound. plenty of safe parking, walks that take in woods, fields and the sea. Our hosts could not have given us a better time, if you read this and visiting the area - just book it.

This has to be one of the best B&B and self catering accommodation in the uk.
My wife and I stayed in the B&B accommodation and the rooms and breakfast are all 5 star. and the self catering cottages are beautiful.

Mark and Barbara are fantastic hosts making you feel at home immediately.

if you are visiting the Roseland peninsular I would highly recommended staying here.

We stayed at the Roundhouse Barn B&B when we came to St Mawes for a wedding, and it was a great place to stay. The rooms are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, with a lovely selection of teas/coffee/juices/bottled waters and biscuits which were replenished daily. The breakfasts were fabulous, a better selection than you would find in any hotel, and Barbara and Mark were so friendly and welcoming. Mark even took us into town the next morning to be reunited with our car that we had left at the wedding venue! We would definately recommend the Roundhouse Barn to friends and family, and would return ourselves again if we were able to bring our 3 year old daughter with us, but unfortunately they do not accept children under 14 (although this would be good news for others I'm sure!)
