We stayed at the Roundhouse Barn B&B when we came to St Mawes for a wedding, and it was a great place to stay. The rooms are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, with a lovely selection of teas/coffee/juices/bottled waters and biscuits which were replenished daily. The breakfasts were fabulous, a better selection than you would find in any hotel, and Barbara and Mark were so friendly and welcoming. Mark even took us into town the next morning to be reunited with our car that we had left at the wedding venue! We would definately recommend the Roundhouse Barn to friends and family, and would return ourselves again if we were able to bring our 3 year old daughter with us, but unfortunately they do not accept children under 14 (although this would be good news for others I'm sure!)

The roundhouse barn is an exceptional place to stay by anyone's standards. From Barbara's warm welcome to Mark driving us to our car again after a late night out we felt at home from the moment that we arrived. Unbelievably comfortable rooms and the stunning grounds make this a perfect hideaway.
If you're looking for a weekend escape or a base to explore the South West there is no better place to stay.

We stayed at Roundhouse Barn B&B for the first time on the recommendation of friends and were simply delighted at the warmth of the welcome from our hosts, Barbara and Mark. Everything is done to ensure your comfort and ability to relax and we loved spending a couple of days in this lovely corner of Cornwall.

Stayed for two nights in the Fal B&B room at Roundhouse barn. What a find! Everything was just perfect. Room very comfortable with luxurious "White Company" bedsheets, towels, toiletries etc. Breakfast was lovely and Mark & Barbara were the perfect hosts. Our stay here was brief as we were in Cornwall for a wedding but definitely aiming to come back and have a longer and relaxing stay at Roundhouse.

Off the road to St Mawes, near the river Fal, Roundhouse Barns has to be the BEST B&B we have stayed at in the UK. Little wonder they have 5 star awards for their B&B and for their SC. Barbara and Mark have created 2 beautiful, contemporary B&B rooms with luxurious showers and 3 simply divine, luxurious SC flats.
The welcome on arrival is like meeting up with your best friend, and their warm and caring hospitality is second to none. They recommend and book venues for evening meals, and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is relaxing, comfortable and pleasurable.
Breakfasts are a sumptuous affair with specials every day of the week, alongside cereals, fresh fruits, yoghurt, stewed fruit and a vast selection of cooked breakfast - supporting local produce.
We loved it so much, we did something we have never done before, booked to return next year!! We had both B&B rooms as our daughter joined us and she too simply loved being at Roundhouse Barns and cannot wait to return.
You cannot go wrong at this first class establishment. Well done and Thank You Barbara and Mark, your hard work truly deserves applauding.

This is a beautiful rural setting with carefully restored buildings and rooms that are completely modern and upscale inside. The hosts are friendly and gracious, and excellent cooks as well as providing easy maps and directions to nearby restaurants/pubs. Vegetables, fruits and herbs are grown in carefully tended gardens. A plus is that a 15 minute walk takes you to one of the major embarkation points for American troops on D-Day, on a small lane that was paved for the tanks. It is a setting both English in its beauty and tranquility and steeped in American history. Top recommendation for this bed and breakfast.

The Roundhouse Barn has only two B&B rooms and two more self-catering units. We stayed in the B&B. The room and its bathroom were very comfortable and well appointed, and spotlessly clean. The location is quiet and rural, between the King Harry Ferry and St Mawes town. Breakfasts were as good as you could find in the best hotel. What we will remember, though, is the warm and enthusiastic service of our hosts, Barbara and Mark. We felt like family guests, and very welcome ones at that. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We could not recommend the Roundhouse Barn more highly.
