We thoroughly enjoyed our B&B break at Roundhouse Barns. We stayed in the Minack, which was spotlessly clean and had a modern en suite bathroom. The room looked out over the garden and was quiet and comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The extra little touches and attention to detail made our stay memorable. Barbara was a wonderfully friendly host and we felt more like house guests than paying customers. The breakfast was first rate with every choice imaginable, fresh fruit and locally sourced ingredients cooked to order. Our one complaint - we could only stay for three nights!

We stayed last year and such a brilliant stay - highlights included the food on arrival, high spec kitchen, great sized bed, lounge with books/games/DVD/sky/fire and then fab guide book with easy satnav details for all the places to visit. V pretty location with walk down to water - only cherry on top would have been easier walk to a pub! Wish we go could this year but no have young daughter so not possible (no kids allowed) - saving it for an anniversary!

The proprietors of Rpoundhouse Barn B and B, Barbara and Mark, are extremely helpful and are fastidiously efficient in everything they do.

Our room was quite small but beautifully appointed with an excellent bathroom. A fridge provided fresh milk, juice and spring water which was replenished daily. Great tea tray with a mini cafetiere for coffee. There is not a guests sitting room but there was one comfortable armchair in the room. The bed was of real qualitry and the linen was crisp, white and clean.

Breakfast, served in a superbly furnished dining room, was an unhurried, pleasant experience. There is even a 'special' each day. Fresh fruit salad, full cornish and fish options on the menu. These breakfasts will set you up for the day.

On arrival after booking in, guests are given keys to the house and their room. From then on they can come and go as they please.

We enjoyed our stay here and would return.

We stayed in the B&B at Roundhouse Barns for 4 nights for a complete rest and came away feeling a million times more rested. Although there are only 2 B&B rooms, this doesn't feel like a B&B - more like a hotel. Our hosts were great - couldn't do more for us. A bottle of wine greeted us on arrival (for my birthday which I had mentioned we were celebrating) and when they noticed after the first night that we had brought champagne down with us to celebrate, they put champagne glasses in the room too. It was the little things I loved - a plug near the mirror on the dressing table, a mini bar that you could get a proper bottle in (standing up), loads of storage space, gorgeous bathroom and wonderfully comfortable bed. Breakfast was great too (and there was a daily special). Our hosts also gave us tips before we arrived about where to eat out. You have to drive as it is quite out of the way but we didn't find this a problem.

Our recent stay in this delightful property was a real pleasure. Our hosts looked after us superbly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect.
Our bedroom was very comfortable and felt luxurious with its neutral shades and crisp bed linen. The bathroom was contemporary and pleasing to the eye with its neutral tones and clean lines. The robes and bath linen were luxurious.

The food we were served was excellent. The cream tea was wonderful with freshly baked scones and plenty of jam and clotted cream. The breakfasts each morning were a delightful start to the day with fresh fruit, cereal, a great choice of cooked breakfast, including 'special of the day' plenty of toast, tea and fresh coffee.

This was first class B&B!

Third visit - this time stayed 2 nights at this special B&B and rather than adding to my previous rapturous reviews (B&B and self catering), let me just say, Roundhouse Barns never disappoint.

Lovely bright and modern rooms with all the little touches, superb breakfasts and a welcome second to none - especially from Barney!! Barbara & Mark are the most delightful people and you leave as friends. Cannot think of one thing that isn't right!

It's no wonder they walk away with awards year after year.
Look forward to our next visit.

It has been a while since I stayed at Roundhouse, however the stays that I have had with them have left me wanting to go back time and time again and I only think it is fair that everyone else knows about this gem!!

I have stayed in the B&B on both occasions however my family rented out one of the self catering cottages. Both are beautiful decorated, comfortable, welcoming and help take your mind away from the hustle and bustle of life. The breakfasts were always very tasty and changed every day, so one can never get bored although Barbara's cooking is top quality you could never get bored!!

Barbara and Mark were always very welcoming, always with a smile and always wanting to make your stay memorable.

Thank you to you both for showing me my own personal slice of heaven, I can't wait to come back!!!

(oops I clicked on wonderful for a pool.. I'm sure if there was one it would be perfect)

Room Tip: All rooms are perfect!!
