A really pleasant stay. With a doorstep onto the High Street the apartment still feels secluded and quiet. The view of the master bedroom overlooking the festoon is a beautiful insight into St Ives life.
The town itself is a beautiful place that time forgot, with thin cobbled streets and stunning views across the land and sea, I would not only recommend St Ives but also 2 The Courtyard.
Also to answer the age old question... St Ives Bakery on Fore Street do the best Cornish pasties in town!!
Couldn't have a better location, right in the heart of St-Ives. A bit noisy at night. The place lacked things like toilet paper and paper towels. Lots of bird droppings in the outside entrance and the outer patio, much more dirty than the pictures lead you to believe. Very disappointed in the cleanliness, sticky handles, musty smell, etc... hosing down the main entrance from the street would be a huge improvement. If you want to be in the heart of St-Ives, it's great for that.
If you want to be right in the middle of St Ives close to all the amenities then this house is perfect for you. We spent 5 nights over New Year here and had a wonderful time, the house itself is very cosy and beautifully decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We parked our car in a long stay car park just up the road from the house (a steep road with steps but good for walking off those extra calories) costing just £7.00 for 24 hours which was ideal as once in St Ives we didn't need to use the car again. On the odd occasion when we did stay in (only twice) it was lovely lighting the candles and snuggling on the huge sofa with the throws watching a movie. The booking process is so easy with Suzanne getting back to us straight away and being able to pay by card on Holiday Lettings, very secure and reassuring. Suzanne has thought of everything there were books, playing cards, DVD's and games to keep guests entertained and the upstairs is huge!!! As usual New Year in St Ives was amazing with a fantastic firework display on the harbour beach at midnight, everyone was in fancy dress and the atmosphere was simply perfect, if you haven't been you must give it a try. The weather was also very good to us we actually sat outside The Sloop one day in full sun drinking Rattler. I can't recommend this house highly enough and wouldn't hesitate on booking it again and recommending it to others. Thank you for a wonderful New Year.
We had a lovely stay at the Courtyard, the house is really well equipped, especially as we had our toddler with us. The location is great, very close to the harbor and short distance to the beaches. The décor throughout is well done and the house has a lovely homely feel to it. Would definitely stay here again. Aside from the house, St Ives is beautiful and perfect for a family holiday. Restaurants were all very busy and I'd advise to book in advance if there are particular places you want to eat at.

The flat is right in the centre of St Ives, two minutes walk to the sea front. It was bigger than we were expecting. We were 4 adults and a baby but would easily have accommodated 6 adults. The flat was equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. The housekeeper even offered a babysitting service. It is an upstairs flat accessed through an external staircase so isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues but otherwise would definitely recommend.
