We lived at this beach whilst we were on holiday in Cornwall! Gwithian was really good our dad push us on our body boards and we shot through the waves like a lazer, loved it!!

lovely beach , but no parking nearby on the busy bankholiday had to walk a longway along the cliff top from a field that cost £5 to park in. Great for surfers ( & there were loads of them) but not much good for swimming, breakers too big & most of the areas between flags for surfing & surf schools instructing . them , but lovely beach when the tide was out, when it's in mostly pebbles

It was absolutely amazing!!! It was a perfect day for family and friends. Our baby had some natural pool to play in and we enjoyed surfing and swimming in the sea. Furthermore, the sights were breathtaking.

I used to go to Gwithian as a child. We went back twice this year on holiday and it was stunning. The lifeguards make you feel safe, it's not too busy, and it's not even that far to walk from the car park (which is the only expense and I think was around a fiver).

There are nice rockpools to explore, the sea doesn't get deep quickly so really good for the little ones and just a great, cheap day out. Enjoy.
