Every aspect of this B&B is excellent, from the location, to the views to the breakfasts. But in particular the helpfullness and friendliness of the owners really sets this place apart. Nothing was too much and they went out of their way to not only make our stay comfortable, but also help us make the most of our time in St Ives. As someone who turned up without concrete plans for my stay, Debbie and Carl were full of reccomendations, tips and even helped us with booking trips! I'd certainly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good holiday!

There is not too much that needs saying about this B&B other than it is fantastic! The hosts are lovely, the rooms beautiful and the view from the bedroom windows is breathtaking! We could have sat in the bay window with a glass of wine forever watching the tide come in and go out. Wonderful breakfast too!

Lovely location, stunning rooms, superb breakfasts, laid back elegance with some quirky touches, truly delightful, welcoming hosts with a real gift for working out what people like and advising them on places to visit that they will love...what more can I say? I'm really fussy about where I stay, and Seaforth ticked all my boxes. I almost don't want to tell anyone else about it so it stays my little secret, but the lovely Debbie and Carl are running a business I suppose, so it would be selfish of me not to spread the word!

(Be warned though - the narrow St Ives' streets are not parking-friendly, so be be prepared to pay car park fees. We didn't realise this, and were a bit taken aback. However, it isn't horrendously expensive, the nearest car park is a two minute walk away from Seaforth, and most importantly it helps St Ives retain it's original charm, and keeps the narrow streets and alleyways safe and walker-friendly).

Spent a few days at Seaforth in late September and have to say that overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms are spacious with superb views out to sea and well presented. Our hosts were extremely helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble and the breakfast was one of the best we've encountered.

The only issue was that the weather had turned and it was getting quite cold. Notwithstanding our trying to get the radiator in our room working, we couldn't do so and spent 2 quite cold nights in the room.

This was the only downside and I'm sure during Summer months and even Winter months when the heating is turned on, ther wouldn't be any issue.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would gladly return.

I spent 3 nights at Seaforth from Sept 9th-12th 2010 with my 21 year old daughter having some girlie time together.
Debbie and Carl were the perfect hosts and we were made to feel very welcome (thanks for telling us about Porthcurno and the Minnack theatre, Carl!!). The hotel is really lovely and the attention to detail and special touches makes it really special. Breakfast was super and set me up for the day, my daughter especially liked Debbie's scrambled egg with smoked salmon.
Seaforth is in a fantastic spot for getting around (just down the road from the train and bus stations), also it's vantage point gives fantastic views across St Ives. When I saw the view from our room I could hardly contain my excitement!! We would certainly not hesitate in recommending Debbie and Carl and we may well turn up on their doorstep in the future. Many thanks.

This was our second stay at Seaforth and we would certainly go back again. This boutique b&b is exceptionally well presented and the owners are friendly and helpful. The decor and attention to detail is impressive and this is the way to run a bed and breakfast. We would recommend anyone to stay here.

Myself and my partner have just returned from a 3 night stay at Seaforth. What a lovely place!!

On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Carl and Debbie the owners. The room we stayed in was amazing with a fantastic seaview. We were immediately given advice of all the places to go and eat etc which was great as we didn't want to waste any time considering our stay in Cornwall wasn't long and there is so much to see. This advice was spot on.

Waking up to the smell of fresh coffee and breakfast being cooked was lovely. Breakfast itself was freshly cooked and top marks for the full english. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Everything seemed so clean and welcoming.

We really couldn't fault the stay we had at Seaforth. We got engaged on this trip, so will certainly be one we never forget and would definitely love to stay here again.

Thanks Carl and Debbie!
