“a great accessible St. Ives holiday”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

I recently stayed at the Seaforth for 6 days. As a wheelchair user it was important for me to find complete wheelchair friendly accommodation. Seaforth met all my requirements. Carl and Debbie went out of their way to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible, and it was. Breakfast which is usually served in one place upstairs was brought downstairs to us. Every morning the table was nicely laid and breakfast options were given to us. Every morning we were treated to a delicious hot and/or cold breakfast. I also loved the fact that we had a ground floor apartment which we could use as a base to come back and relax which had cooking facilities that we could use to have our own meals at home. The apartment had good flat outside access to the road which was seconds away from the harbour, main shops and centre, and beaches. This great B&B was a nice compliment to our lovely holiday. We will be back.

We had a fabulous four night break in the lovely Seaforth. We were greeted by Carl and Debbie who made us feel really welcome, They helped with our luggage, gave us a parking permit (which is conveniently located nearby) and generally made us feel really comfortable. We had one night in room one, and then three nights in room three. The views are amazing, especially from room three, We were happy to sit there in the window watching the sun go down. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and freshly made and Debbie and Carl were always on hand to offer suggestions of restaurants, days out, beaches and day trips. It's a 5 minute stroll downhill into town so a great location too, we would definitely come back and recommend Seaforth to anyone. Thanks again Debbie and Carl. Ann-Marie and Ed.x

Professional grade

Room Tip: Room 3 has a huge bed and amazing views.

We have stayed at Seaforth for the first time but it definitely wasn't the last one. Debbie and Carl were amazing! They were so welcoming, we felt like we came to stay with our own family! They are both very warm, friendly and great fun to be around. Always were very helpful, gave us lots of great advice and helped in every possible way to make our stay more pleasant.
Breakfasts were really delicious! And there was such a great choice, too.
The room with the bathroom were gorgeous, very spacious and clean, really nicely equipped. The view from our room was just breath taking! Waking up in a super comfy king size bed and first thing you see is a beautiful sea view! It is just the most relaxing thing ever! We actually can't wait to go back! Jo&Magic

This is the 4th time we have stayed at Seaforth and we would not go any elsewhere. The house is decorated and designed by Debbie and is beautiful in its originality. We have stayed in other hotels in the area but they lack the personal touch of Karl and Debbie. The breakfast is to die for, anything your heart desires then cooked to order. It is the best B+B,s I have ever stayed in and would match if not surpass a lot of the hotels. Stay you will not be disappointed.

We love St. Ives and our yearly return would not be complete without our fix at Seaforth. Debbie and Carl are fantastic hosts and Carl's breakfast's are superb. A short walk to the harbour and sea front is an advantage. There are plenty of well priced top notch restaurants your hosts can personally recommend along with their detailed local knowledge to ensure a perfect stay. All of the rooms are individually decorated and are full of character in keeping with the house. See you next year :-)

Travelling by train this B & B was perfectly situated for us. What a gorgeous room and the views, amazing. Debbie and Carl were so welcoming and full of tips about the locality, bus service etc, and oh, those breakfasts, all in all a perfect place to stay.

We recently returned from our third holiday in St Ives , staying with Debbie and Carl in their lovely house on Skidden Hill. There is not a lot more to say that hasn't already been said ,but these are a few of the reasons why we love it - very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, without being at all obtrusive, delicious breakfasts with a good choice of dishes, personal touches such as a fridge with fresh milk and water, funky and stylish decor and absolutely delightful and knowledgeable hosts in Debbie and Carl! Very sad to be back in London...D & T

Room Tip: Room three is fantastic ! It has a very comfortable super king sized bed and floor to ceiling window...
