We have just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at the Treliska Guesthouse. This was our first visit and will not be our last, I cannot thank Mike enough for welcoming us into his lovely home. We stayed in Room 1, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities very clean and modern. There were lots of choice for breakfast and all cooked very well. The house is a short walk into town, we took advantage of parking our car at the station car park through-out the stay, this can be arranged through Mike and is only a short walk away. Do not hesitate in booking, you will not be dis-appointed.

This guesthouse has very good location in the town center and the room is very clean. You can basicaly go to anywhere in St Ives within 10 mintes' walk. The owners are all very friendly and helpful. They are also very considerable when decorating the room and preparing the breakfast. They provide free wifi in the lounge and there is also a computer in lounge that you can use to search for places. In general this guesthouse is really worthy the price and if we get the chance to revisit St Ives, we prefer to stay here again.

We stayed for a long weekend over the recent Bank Holiday. The room was very spacious and modern. Bathroom was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast area followed with the same theme, breakfast was excellent (plenty of choice) and service was excellent. location was good, only a very short walk into town. All in all a great weekend and we definitely use again in the future. Would recommend to all.

We stayed for one night at this lovely guesthouse during our walking holiday. The room was modern and contemporary and spotlessly clean. This is continued through to the breakfast room where there is also a lounge area with a computer, free wifi, (available throughout the guesthouse) and free coffee machine. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice from homemade muesli to smoked salmon to full English breakfast, the list is endless. Mike the proprietor was very helpful and knowledgable. We went with his recommendation for a restaurant and were not disappointed. The location of Treliska is perfect, right in the centre of St. Ives. We would have stayed a second night if we had not already booked elsewhere. I would highly recommend Treliska Guesthouse and will definitely be returning in the near future.

This was our second stay at this lovely guest house (end of July 2013), after having previously visited in September 2012. And because we were staying for seven nights this time, we opted for a slightly bigger room.
Although the room was slightly more expensive than the double room we stayed in last year, it was worth every penny as we had a king-size bed this time and there was ample space for all our luggage, along with a sitting area with coffee table by the window with a view overlooking the sea (albeit a limited view of the sea - but still nice though) - Somewhere to relax with a cup of tea and your Kindle after a day on the beach!
The room had everything we needed: Wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables, television, USB chargers in the plugs, powerful shower, shaver plug, etc., and had a modern, contemporary feel, which extends right through to the breakfast room.
Talking of breakfast... there is plenty of choice: from fruit and yoghurts, to cereals and toast, and then a choice of either a full English (absolutely delicious!) or various other options; including kippers, smoked salmon/scrambled eggs on a muffin, pancakes or simply mushrooms on toast.
The cleanliness was faultless, and made even better by the little touches, such as having a spotless mirror in the bathroom every day and no smudges on the light-switches.
The owner is very friendly and will always make time for a chat, sometimes offering recommendations for places to visit during the day, or restaurants to eat in at night.
I like the location of the guest house too as it is only 2 minutes walk from the centre of town, where there is a buzzing night life offering an array of restaurants, bars and live music, and you are also offered a guaranteed car parking space by the railway station if you want (for a small daily fee), which is great, as there isn't a lot of choice for parking in the centre of town, and the main car parks are usually very busy.
I cannot fault anything about this place. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in St Ives then "Treliska" guest house should be top of your list, for value for money, location, facilities and freindliness. It's got everything you need!
We will definitely be returning - if not later on this year, then again in 2014.

Room Tip: Room 4 is slightly bigger than the others, and has the sea view - but don't book it when I want...

This was our second visit to Treliska and we stayed for one week. The room was a nice size and serviced, cleaned and tea and coffee topped up every day and towels in the superb on suite shower room changed regularly. The whole place has a modern feel yet fits in well with the feel of St Ives. The food and service at breakfast was delicious. Too much for me to manage! The people we're lovely, very kind when I fell ill with an ear infection and gave good advice on where to get help etc. Staff had a good knowledge of the area advising us on day trips, bus times and things going on in the town. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you

My husband and I stayed for one night at this B&B and we had a lovely time. All rooms are ensuite and very comfortable. Breakfast is huge and delicious. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect and there is a car park near (5 - 7 min walking) next to the train station.
