A beautiful little cottage, in a fab central, but quiet location. Very cosy & well equipped. Beds were very comfy. The string of feline visitors made our holiday even more perfect!

“Lovely little cottage”

Stayed at the Digey (the locals said it was pronounced "Die-gee") with our two dogs. The cottage is in a great location - you can just hear the waves breaking on the beach with the window open but with only a few pedestrians passing by (and one German in a Land Rover Discovery!) it was lovely and quiet.

The cottage is open plan downstairs with a good sized tv and the kitchen is very well equipped - better than anywhere else we have stayed. There was also an integrated fridge, full size freezer and washer/dryer. The shower in the downstairs bathroom was excellent - lots of pressure.

The standard of decoration was first class and very much in keeping with it being a Fisherman's Cottage - lots of lovely nic-naks and pictures. The bed was so comfortable you didn't want to get up! The central heating works very well. We only had to have it on low the whole time we were there.

Location couldn't be better. Only a couple of minutes walk down to the harbour and not too much of an incline on the way back. We did park in Barnoon car park to start with but it was a bit of a trek up the hill every day so we moved down to Smeaton's pier which was much better.

We could take the dogs on the beaches as it was after 31st October and they loved all of them! Also a few of the pubs are dog friendly - especially The Sloop.

Having WiFi was a real bonus too.

“Lovely, quaint little cottage in a fab location!”
Reviewed June 20, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We stayed as a couple with my parents and our 14month old toddler. The cottage was a perfect size for our party, and very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need and more, and the cottage has some beautiful finishing touches. The beds were very comfy and we were provided with a travel cot, highchair and stairgate at no extra cost.
The cottage is within walking distance of the harbour, bars, beaches and shops.
Would definitely stay here again.

“Bright and cosy”
Reviewed May 13, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Just come back from a 3 night stay at 21 The Digey. Great cottage, cosy, comfy and very well equipped downstairs with a good size TV. Very light and warm upstairs, no heating needed even though the weather outside was very damp and showery to say the least! The 5' bed in the master bedroom was lovely and I particularly liked the daisy lampshade.! The cottage is very welcoming and in a perfect location, Fore Street just to the left and Porthmeor just to the right. Would thoroughly recommend and will be returning in the near future.
