“Very nice B&B”

The host was lovely, the breakfast - in this nice bright lounge - too (pancakes, fresh fruit, ......). Room number 3 at the first floor has a wunderful nautical theme. There are beautiful costal walks and 5 beaches in St. Ives. The habour is perfect for the evening.

We loved everything: the location, the room itself, the views and of course the host. Besides St Ives is just an amazing place to be. Look no further. I'm guessing the only concern potential travellers may have is shared facilities. I personally think it's not a problem at all. Shower / WC were always very clean and available :)

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3 and it's a very bright room with great views. I'd say it's fairly la...

LordRyans was a great beginning to our SW Coast walk. Good location, very close to harbor and village centre, accommodating B&B with bright lounge area, brilliant breakfast, knowledgeable proprietor. Visit the Tate, walk the seaside.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Lord Ryans and I cannot praise it enough! We stayed in the "studio" on the ground floor, which comprised of a lounge, bedroom, small kitchen and bathroom. The rooms had a nautical theme and were spotless. Although the studio is self catering, we chose to have breakfast with everyone and it was a fun way of starting the day. Mariana was so kind and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely. A selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, pancakes, cereals, breads - all wonderfully presented.
If you are looking a great meal then I can thoroughly recommend the Loft in St. Ives, approx 10 minutes from Lord Ryans. The food is a little on the pricey side but we went there on our last night and it was out of this world. (I can recommend the monkfish curry)

Room Tip: Book early to avoid disappointment

We had the top apartment which has beautiful views of the sea. Really colourful apartment with everything you need. Great location and car park just round the corner. Sleeps 4 but really is ideal for 2 people. 4 adults would be a squeeze.

We stayed in the bunk bed room (No6) - perfect for us - 2 friends on a budget! Mariana is a wonderful hostess. The breakfast was a superb continental with homemade pancakes, fresh fruit etc! The communal dining table was a great way to make new friends and the drinks facilities were most welcome each evening. We loved it so much we WILL be back

Mariana was a wonderful hostess, making sure that all was well for us and going out of her way to make us welcome. We had the apartment bedroom, which was beautifully decorated and had stunning views of the sea and a lovely ensuite. And we indulged in the delicious breakfasts - definitely worth it. Great location too. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: It was good having the option of the apartment with just the bedroom.
