“Pukka cream tea!”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

Called into Pels on the way back to our cottage whilst on holiday in St Ives for a cream tea as had a couple of average cream teas during the week. Scones were unbelievably light, and plenty of jam and cream. Would definitely call here as a priority for cream tea in st ives

“Excellent”
Reviewed July 19, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I eat here twice at night and the food and service was much better than most of the other places we had eaten at during our one week stay in St Ives.
Very friendly and polite service, only problem was because it is so popular you might have to wait a while to get a table inside.

“A great little cafe”
Reviewed July 6, 2014 via mobile

We ate at Pels twice during our recent visits to St Ives. The food is fresh and tasty and they are very child friendly. The cafe seems very busy with tourists and locals alike but you don't have to wait long for the food!

“Good honest simple tasty food and good value too”
Reviewed July 4, 2014 via mobile

Ate twice in a week at Pels. Small cafe with a big menu and portions. Friendly attentive service. Food is simple home food and lots of it and prepared really well..

Pizzas are great too. Only a lack of a loo on site prevents top marks but there is a public loo just by the sloop round the corner.

“Great service, great food, great value”
Reviewed July 2, 2014

We went to have dinner at Pels for a birthday treat but unfortunately we arrived too late as the kitchen closes at 20.30 for meals. We returned the next day and for dinner, and we were impressed. We had a burger each and chips to share. Very nice food. The bread and salad was fresh and my partner said his bacon/cheese beefburger was one of the best he's ever had! Which is a massive compliment as he is not a foodie. My Peri chicken burger was lovely. Lots of other food on the menu all prepared fresh when you order. Reasonably priced. I got a Crepe to take away. Yummy. Will be returning.
