We arrived at the pub at approx 19.00, it was very busy. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who advised us it would be about 15 mins wait for a table. We decided to wait and were directed to the bar for drinks whilst we waited. After about ten minutes we were offered a table, however the waiter said if we waited a few minutes more we could have a window seat. After about 3 minutes more our table was ready. Worth it, as we watched a seal in the harbour whilst we pondered over the menu. Food orders were taken and paid for at the bar. Lots of choices on the menu which would suit all tastes. We ordered the Ploughman's platter and the Steak Pie. Both were yummy. Generous portions. Although it was very busy the staff were very attentive. Overall a great experience and would return.
