“Very cosy exceptionally well equipped and ideally located holiday flat for couples”
Reviewed 2 weeks ago for a stay in June 2018

Although smaller than the photos suggest, this is a delightful holiday flat with good quality furniture and fittings especially the bed and bed linen, which are particularly worth a mention, first class. Lots if lovely bits and pieces around the flat to provide that homely feel and mostly locally sourced including the mugs, dinner plates etc. This all adds to the holiday Cornish feel. Although compact, there is plenty of room for 2 people and it does make it lovely and cosy in the evenings snuggling on the nice sofa and watching TV with so much choice, a grsat little TV too. Bathroom is very modern with amazing shower and bath. Again very well designed. Kitchen area is perfect compact but fully functional with so much equipment including coffee makers (and Cornish coffee and tea provided) along with full size fridge with small freezer and icepacks provided. The owner has covered every need of the visitor, we were impressed by her attention to detail. The lication is ideal and could not be more central for St Ives. 5 mins walk yoh are in the main shopping area with restaurants takeaways and pubs. 10 minutes to any of the fabulous beaches. Very close to a choice of car parks including long stay that cost £8 for 24 hrs. Negatives are difficult to find, only minor. The spiral stairs are very narrow and need to be used with care, not for the faint hearted and there are a couple of broken tiles at the foot of the stairs you have to avoid if in bare feet. There is a large door mat recess by the front door that you can trip over especially at night to and from the loo, again not good if in bare feet. There is a small lovely new garden area with chairs and table, lively for morning coffee but be warned this is on the footpath access to many flats so not at all private. There us also a flat above you both the bedroom and the kitchen area (the photos of the front if the flat show 3 Windows above the yellow front door, these all belong to the flat above. We could hear people moving about but nothing too disturbing. Not when compared to the Seagulls! June is probably the worse time for Seagull noise as the fledgling are up and about, the noise goes on into the night stops briefly for a couple of hours and starts with a vengeance at around 3am. This is not isolated to this flat as it is common across the town but be prepared. Overall 3 Wesley Flats is a lovely cosy, exceptionally well equipped and ideally located holiday location. We would recommend to friends and family and would certainly stay here again. The negatives are minor and the Gulls a part of Cornwall.

Perfect accommodation for my girlfriend, our newborn son and I. An abundance of character, has all the amenities you need and in a perfect location just a short walk to the harbour, Tate Gallery and Portmeor beach for a surf. Many thanks Tricia for your friendly assistance and a wonderful stay!

“Gorgeous holiday spot!”
Reviewed January 22, 2018 for a stay in December 2017

What a fantastic little place! It had everything I needed for a cosy winter weekend. I loved the 'loft' bedroom-super comfy bed! The flat is in a quiet spot yet only 2 minutes walk to the shops, restaurants, and gorgeous beaches of St Ives. I am really looking forward to a return visit in the summer and will definitely be staying at Number 3!!

“Lovely Stay”
Reviewed October 28, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

This was our second time staying in this lovely little cottage. There has been a refurb since our last stay with a change in layout and WiFi and Sky tv which are great additions.

It’s a small but very cosy cottage and you are right in the centre of St Ives after a short 2 minute walk.

The facilities in the cottage are excellent with a kitchen providing all you need and a very powerful shower. There is central heating which soon warms the place up.

The spiral staircase takes a bit of getting used to but it’s fine if you just take your time.

There are 2 car parks close by, although the Park Avenue car park is up some very steep steps and a slope.

Can’t praise this little place highly enough, highly recommended.

Hi Rick, welcome back - it's always good to hear from a happy returning guest! Lots of thought went into the refurb and I am really pleased you liked all the changes. I am also really glad to hear you felt warm and cosy - that's also the goal of course, especially as the colder weather moves in. A quick note about the parking, in case it helps - I tend to park at the Station Car Park, it’s a little bit further away but it’s always an enjoyable stroll back through town once you’ve parked the car. Thanks again for your great review, I hope to welcome you back again one day! Best wishes, Tricia

A perfect spot. Close to everything. Right in the heart of the town but tucked away in a quiet courtyard. Everything is within walking distance. Parking very close by also. Our favourite walk was up and over to Porthmeor Beach. The flat is well equipped and nicely decorated. Comfortable and cute. Clean. Quiet. Exceptionally bright and cosy. My daughter and I stayed here for four days and found it such a sweet spot. We will definitely stay here again and again. Looking forward to my next visit!
