“THE place from which to enjoy St. Ives.”
Reviewed May 16, 2011

Just opened in April, found by chance online, and fabulous luck for our Cornish vacation. Newly renovated B & B is bright & clean, with lovely rooms & views overlooking St. Ives. Hosts Lee & Danny couldn't be nicer, and serve fantastic breakfasts; "full English" (best version EVER) & continental sideboard available everyday or a great rotating daily selection. This is THE place from which to enjoy St. Ives.

Lee and Danny greeted us at Little Leaf Guest House with a very warm welcome and a well needed cup of tea after our train journey. We booked a 4 night stay in Room 4 - very cosy - and although small it was homely, clean and well
equipped.

Breakfasts were always a delight, from the very filling Full English (with vegetarian option available) to the daily specials, providing the perfect start to a day of exploration and Cornish adventures (!)

The guest house is conveniently situated just five minutes walk from all local amenities and sumptuous beaches, with views overlooking the harbour, Celtic Sea and St Nicholas' Chapel. The train and bus stations are but a stone's throw away, making it an ideal retreat for all those wishing to travel in and around the area. Local attractions (Geevor Tin Mine being one of the most memorable) are easily accessible by both modes of transport, with scenic views a plenty to enjoy along the way. There are dining options close by in town for all tastes - our personal favourite was Harbour Fish and Chips.

Free wi-fi is also available and there's even an iPad in the communal lounge area for guests to keep in contact with family and plan their stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Little Leaf Guest House and we will certainly be returning again very soon. Thanks again to Lee and Danny for making us feel so at home. We have already been recommending the guest house to all our family and friends.

Our stay here for 3 nights with friends was everything I hoped for having followed Lee's blog prior to their opening. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and we had a stunning view over St Ives Bay. Lee and Danny were brilliant hosts - so friendly and welcoming and clearly enjoying their new career. The boys enjoyed full english breakfast every morning - all cooked fresh whilst us girls can recommend the cinnamon toast and the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon as well as the beautiful fresh fruit each morning,
Although there is no parking there is a carpark 3 doors away and parking between 6pm and 10am outside.
We definately plan to come back and will recommend it to all our friends.
Good luck for the future.

Despite arriving five minutes before Kate walked down the aisle, we were greeted warmly with the offer of wine and cupcakes - and invited to sit with all the other guests to watch the Royal spectacle. The breakfasts are superb - and set us up royally for the day's walking along cliff tops.

We stayed for one night over Easter. Danny and Lee were very kind to us, really energic young couple dedicated to their guesthouse. The interior is perfect to detail, very tasteful and clean. Everyting in matching light colours, beautiful soft carpets, superclean bed linen, no little spot or drop anywhere. It even smelled gorgeous! And the breakfast was heaven, nice start for a sunny day with coffe with the view over the St Ives! A few steps down and you are in the centre. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in a calm, light place with cool hosts.

Stayed for one night as we were passing through, hosts were incredibly hospitable, friendly and chatty, made you feel very welcome. Bed and Breakfast is within short walking distance to all local amenities including the beautiful harbour front and the gorgeous little shopping lanes. With a fabulous selection of breakfasts available, the rooms are bright and spacious, all kept to a high standard of cleanliness. We both loved our short stay here and would recommend to all.
