Owner description: A favorite place for a family outing, this lovely stretch of beach overlooks Godrevy Lighthouse in the distance.

Lovely beach but it does get very busy when the weather is good. There is a beach bar and snack bar and you can get deck chairs/wind breaks/umbrellas for £3 each a day. Only downside is that the toilets are a nightmare - unisex with massive queues!

What a stunner! And within a few minutes walk from the train station! Beach was clean and plenty of space to pitch a sun shelter. All amenities close by and it is within easy walking distance of all that St Ives has to offer. Shall definitely return.

Just has to be classed as the best beach in the world.

I am now 51 and have spent all my childhood holidays here in St Ives and played and sunbathed on this beach.
After a 25 year gab of being away from here I returned to show my partner the beauty of St Ives and in 2 years we have visited 4 times- needless to say my partner has got the bug.

We were here 3 weeks ago - the weather was lovely for May, we played putting on the fantastic putting green and enjoyed an ice cream sat on the beach and then played boule on the beautiful sand.

I could sit on that beach and look out to sea for the rest of my life and never get bored- beautiful Cornwall you never let me down.
