Had lunch here recently. I personally find the menu overly fussy, but I always manage to find at least one thing I would like. This time it was chorizo hot pot and it was delicious! Love the log burner and service is always good. Definitely recommend.

Stopped here for lunch after a long walk from St Ives through Carbis Bay. Nice selection of deli type food and my roast beef sandwich was excellent - especially washed down with a bottle of the new St Ives beer!

Had two very good meals here in two weeks - going back to a place for more is surely a recommendation in itself.

Slightly quirky place just outside St Ives but well worth a visit.

Small menu but what we had was excellent and good value for money, includes a vegetarian as well as fish and meat options.

Place is small too but then that gives it a very homely feel and tastefully done out without being too over the top. The place is also a deli and sells wine, at a fiver for corkage on any of their wines (an extensive and good range) is a bargain, not that there is anything wrong with their wine list.

We had mussels (excellent value) and perfectly cooked, shin of beef in soy and ginger, melt in your mouth, and couple of others which I forget about now but remember as being very good.

Excellent value for money too.

The full breakfast looks like the standard fare on the menu, but do not be deceived! The baked beans are home made and everything is extremely tasty - special mention should go to the cooked tomato. On previous visits, I had been disappointed by the lack of sausages, but this has been rectified (Hurrah)

Great chillout music too.

And as a bonus, it has a great selection of wines to tempt you...;-)
