We have never tried a vegetarian restuarant before but decided to try Spinacio's after reading several excellent reviews in our cottage guest book. We were not disappointed. We ate very early before a concert and were lucky to have one of the window tables over looking the beach and harbour. The food was lovely. We had a very simple starter of home made bread, balsamic vinegar & Olive oli dip and fresh oils. Gorgeous! My husband had a curry for his main - he enjoyed it, especially the coconut basmati rice and the courgette raita. I like my aubergine stew with saffron and apricot couscous. We will experiment at home with elements from both dishes, so that shows how much we enjoyed them. For dessert we both had hazelnut rmeringue with raspberry coulis & kirsch cream - very moreish! We don;t usually like merngues that much but these were crispy, crunchy and wonderful. Our experience at Spinachio's has inspired us to try more veggie cooking at home and seek our more vegetarian restuarants. Service was very friendly too.
