“Excellent food and great with children too”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

Had an unplanned early evening meal here which was amazing. Beautiful view of the sun setting over the long sandy beach whilst eating delicious fresh tapas. Staff were really friendly and were great with our toddler, they even had some toys for him to play with. Dessert of churros and hot chocolate sauce was just delicious. If there's one fault it's very popular so without a booking it can be hard to a table which says a lot!

Had a couple of lunches a few weeks back - mainly tapas, all well prepared and presented. We had to wait for a table on one occasion, but not for too long , and it was worth it

“Best breakfast ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

Its just perfect. Stunning views and amazing food, what more can you want. I had the cooked breakfast which is initially eggs done how you like with toast to which you can add anything else you want like bacon, hash browns etc. My partner had the buttermilk pancakes which were an inch thick and covered in pecan butter and maple syrup and were amazing. We went back for tapas one day as well which was the best I've ever had, especially the pork.

Their cakes are beautifully made and a must!

Cant fault this place one bit so go and enjoy!

“Sea, Sand, Surf, Views & Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

On the beach opposite the Tate gallery, there are eating areas on two levels both indoors and al fresco. He had the Cornish Crab sarnies washed down with a glass of "Boilers" ale and she had a simple Carrot and Coriander soup with Turkish bread - both delicious. Finished off with a shared slab of banana cake which was delicious. The English habit of placing cakes on counters uncovered is a little unsettling though. You wonder who has coughed and sneezed over it. The "Origin" coffee was good and the decor really light and "beachy" with a white and citrus theme. The wait staff looked good too in their nautical stripes and the service was really good. Loved the location, service, food and atmosphere.
