“Best Scones in Cornwall!”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

Visited last week and had the best cream tea I have ever experienced....ANYWHERE!!! The scones were so deliciously soft and tasty that I could have kept eating them all day (had I have had hollow legs that is!). The view from the cafe of the beach and sea is truly superb, and the heated pods with blankets were truly inspired! This really is the perfect venue whatever the season. I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to St Ives.

“My highlight of St Ives”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

I absolutely ADORE this place! We stubbled across it by chance on a day trip to the Tate last year, so couldn't wait to go back when staying in St Ives this year.

The main meals look divine but I always opt for tapas - it's to die for, a feast for the eyes as well as the tummy. Love the fact that they use local ingredients and stock Cornish beers/ciders. The views are fab no matter what the weather and even if it's chilly you can sit out in a booth on the balcony with a cake and coffee and make use of the heaters and blankets, I could sit there all day (and night)!

“Beautiful beachside location”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

We ate outside with a beautiful view of the beach and were allowed to bring the dog. Water bowls were supplied and all dogs were made to feel welcome unlike a lot of places who 'tolerate' dogs. Great choice of food and wine and when it arrived it didn't disappoint. I thought the plastic bucket containing the knives and forks was unusual! All in all an enjoyable evening and I would definately return.

“Delicious food, great service, perfect view.”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

We have been here a few times and usually managed to eat outside in the sunshine. This time we visited in October and had a table inside. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food, tapas style, was really tasty. We love this place, it's it the cheapest, but you get what you get what you pay for - great food. It's just great to watch the surfers and dog walkers, there is always something to look at. Add in a delicious meal or just a hot chocolate or glass of wine and, in my view you have near perfection. Just don't be be tempted to ruin your visit with a quick look round the Tate. The best view is definitely seawards!

Actually it was a delicious hot chocolate and carrot and walnut cake. braving the outside on a bitter day in September. But the service was good and the food good and we were happy
