“nice curry”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

Good menu, lots to choose from. Recommend Lamb Tawa, it comes on a sizzling dish and is extremely tasty. King Prawn jalfrezi is very hot! We tried coconut rice, and it was divine. Lovely little indian restaurant, with nice friendly staff.

“Twice in a week!!”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

Being coeliac eating out when on holiday is always a worry but my mind was put at ease by the knowledgable staff, all questions answered confidently and more importantly correctly!

The food was fantastic on both visits the king prawn Biryani was perfect and mango paneer I had to start was fantastic. The Bombay potatoes were also the best I've had.

The bring your own bottle scheme is a great idea too and made the cost more than reasonable, would recommend this place to all curry lovers visiting St Ives.

I shall be back.....!

“Dont bother”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

After reading reviews on here decided to give it a try, what a big mistake husband ordered a madrass which is the hottest item on menu, was bland and tasteless with the same quality of a shop brought jar, staff not very attentive and toilets with no running hot water which I find a little disturbing, is it the same in the kitchens. wont be returning.

Thank you for your review we are sorry you did not enjoy your experience with us, we take pride in what we do and shall vigorously look into why your food and service was not to our usual high standards that we strive for. We have a 5 star hygiene rating for our kitchen with hot running water. We value your opinion thank you very much

“One curry liked the other not!”
Reviewed June 21, 2013

My curry was very tasty and not one that I had come across before, sauce consisted of mango, nuts and dried fruit. However the other curry was bland and not garlicky (if there is such a word), although ingredients very fresh. The place did lack atmosphere but we were not rushed which is a good thing. Difficult to compare with others as not many other indian restaurants in the area but probably would return and make sure my other half chose something else.

“Truly scrumptious!”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

Nicely decorated, small restaurant with friendly efficient staff. I had Ustad Morissa and K had Lamb curry accompanied by wonderful mixed veg rice and a perfect Naan bread. The depth of flavour was superb. This was up there in my top 5 curries Ive had of all time (and thats a LOT of time!) It may seem a bit pricey but in the St Ives scheme of things is good value. It's always worth paying a bit more for quality. Highly recommended for lovers of Asian cuisine.
