Description: We are situated in the artists quarter of the picturesque town of St Ives. Our menu uses the best local ingredients we can and cooking simply with passion. We have 40 cover sun terrace which overlooks the bay and we allow Dogs in this part of the restaurant, service is always with a smile.

If you enjoy well presented high quality food, then this is a must! In a different league from the majority of restaurants in St Ives. Great ambiance either on the terrace, with views across the harbour, or in the loft itself with its bright contemporary feel. The menu offers something more exciting than the norm and at very reasonable prices. The service is friendly and attentive. Very worth navigating the warren of cobbled streets to track down. Would revisit in a heart beat!

Having visited this restaurant before it was a disappointment to find standards had lapsed, and having ordered the Mussels at £13.95 only to find they where overcooked and disintegrated on taking them out of their shells,.when we told the waitress she apologized and shrugged, their was no attempt to put the situation right,.we paid and left, will not be going back again,.

Came across the loft whilst looking for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of the harbourfront. Lovely outside terrace with a decent lunch menu at reasonable prices. Food was well presented if a little slow arriving and tasted good. Can recommend the crab dishes which with a glass or two of chilled Zinfandel went down really well.

Beautiful setting on a nice summers evening. We sat in tn terrace which was lit by fairy lights - very romantic. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and we didn't need to book on a busy bank holiday Monday evening which is a bonus in st Ives! The food was beautifully cooked, not massive portions but enough to fill you up. Make sure you save room for desserts, they were amazing and wonderfully presented. The staff were friendly and even at the end of the night we didn't feel they were rushing us out the door. Definitely worth a visit.

Having visited St. Ives for several years, we discovered The Loft 4 years ago and we come back each time we visit. The atmosphere is lovely, service is really friendly and efficient and the food is fabulous. It isn't too pricey, but the quality is always great.
