This was our first time in Cornwall and b&b West Cliff in St, Ives is the perfect place to stay. Terry and Mike are the perfect hosts. Our English was not so fluently but they made us feel very welcome and they are successful not to make us feel alone.
The position is perfect, as it is literally a minutes walk to the sandy beach and a few minutes pleasant walk to the centre, where you can be found all the shops, bars and restaurants.
The room with Tv , tea, coffee and biscuits en-suite was spotless, comfortable and instantly welcoming.
The dining room and lounge overlook the sea, ideal to watch the waves crashing off! We had the big (fantastic!!) full breakfast every day and was a very pleasure to hear Terry singing in the kitchen !!!
We also have our own allocated parking space for our motorbike!!!
Surrely we will be recommending this b&b to our friends!

It was our first stay in St. Ives, so also our first stay at Westcliff Guest House. We managed to find a few warm days in August to visit! The view from our room was absolutely incredible and the room was spotless, comfortable and instantly welcoming. Got a really good sleep all 3 nights we were there - there's nothing like hearing waves crash to send you off!
The breakfast was very good. Plenty of cereal and toast and obviously, the cooked part, which was spot on. Amazingly, within that 20-30 minute window, our room was completely cleaned with fresh sheets, towels and hoovered. Its a 5 minute walk to the town centre and bars/restaurants, unless you get distracted by the amazing sunrise/sunset across the sea as soon as you open the front door!
We genuinely can't wait to get back next year. Terrie is a wonderful host and Mike is too, if you're lucky enough to see him! Thanks again to both of you. Hopefully see you again soon,
Jon & Kathryn.

This was our first visit to St. Ives and we chose to stay at Westcliff Guest House. St. Ives is a beautiful place and our holiday was made even better by the quality of the accommodation. The owners of Westcliffe (Terrie and Mike) made us feel very welcome.

The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay is catered for. Also, the position of the Westcliff is perfect, as it is literally a minutes walk to the sandy beach and a few minutes pleasant walk to the centre, where all the shops, bars and restaurants can be found.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westcliff and hope to return again.

Pleasant hosts, comfortable rooms and a magnificent view. Very short walk to the beach and the town centre. Half of the "B & B" experience, though, is the breakfast, which was dissapointing -- INSTANT coffee?? The sausge was inedible. Also, breakfast is only served for 30 minutes from 8:30, so forget a morning walk or a lie-in before breakfast. If you are interested in location and views only, this fits the bill,.

I am so sorry you didn't enjoy your breakfast - we did at least have a selection of teas to offer you. Had you said you didn't like your sausage we could have offered an alternative but you seemed very happy. Breakfast is from 8.30 - 9.00 but most of our guests are happy with this as they usually want to get off and enjoy the beaches of beautiful St. Ives or explore the this lovely peninsula. I hope you enjoy your future holidays.

Sue and Tina. We have just got back from our stay with Terry and Mike, we found Westcliffe Guest House to be very clean very friendley home from home, nothink was to much trouble, the room we stayed in was spotless and a nice sized room and had everythink we needed to be comfortable, the only down side really was the very narrow stairs up to it, which was'nt a problem really and it has given tina the incentive to join the gym so when we go back next year she will fly up them, but myself and tina enjoyed our stay there very much and we will return.
