Description: The Hub St Ives is situated in the heart of the town, we are a well established feature on the harbour front and an essential stop off for great coffee, fabulous cakes and amazing food. In the evening we are the ideal place for fantastic burgers or just to sip cocktails or sample one of our local and international craft beers and watch the world go by. We have a modern menu of really delicious burgers made in house from aged Cornish rare breed beef supplied by the fabulous Phillip Warrens of Launceston. Lobster Rolls when in season and daily seasonal specials. Our hot dogs are New York style but produced in the UK using 100% free range pork, oak smoked and seasoned with paprika, nutmeg & black pepper. Our burger and hot dog buns are produced by artisan 'Baker Tom' and delivered fresh everyday. As you can see our food is something we are fiercely proud of. Breakfast served between 9am and 11am Main menu served from 12noon Kitchen closes 9pm Bar open until late

Great view, superb value food, we watched the lifeboat launch from our front seats. Really nice staff good service and excellent bar staff. Very busy as you would expect from a super venue. We will be back soon to take the great astmosphere. We visted early evening, next time we will go later as the sun goes down.

Great place one of the best in St Ives !!!

Fab fab fab food and you don't have to book!!! Visited with family whilst holidaying in Hayle and enjoyed freshly cooked amazing burgers and the most fantastic Mac and cheese since my Mum died!! Would absolutely recommend a visit, well worth the wait for a table. Slow cooked brisket, BBQ pulled pork and a proper kids meal choice. At least one visit here is a must!!!

Table system is unworkable

25 mins to get a table, 15 mins to decide on what we wanted, then we were told they aren't taking food orders because the kitchen is behind! Was advised to wait 15 more minutes before ordering and it could take a hour twenty to eat.

Running a restaurant at capacity is a basic requirement. At least put a sign up giving hungry people the choice to not wait 40 minutes. The pregnant member of the party was thrilled!

Shame because the food looked good.

This place is fabulous. Finding a good restaurant in St Ives in the peak season is notoriously difficult to do but the joy of this place is no booking - you just turn up, find a table and order at the bar. I had a big order and just took it down on my phone and passed my phone to the barman - easy! The Cornish ales were superb, great wine list and the views from the balcony on the first floor are unbeatable. We bagged a prime table on the balcony and then lucked out the following night when we returned - and got the same table! The burgers are delicious, with lovely buns (so often the roll is awful) and the ribs are great too but the best bits are the tex-mex beans and the amazing BBQ pulled pork. A taste sensation! Biiiig portions, so share and order more if you need to for kids or order from the kids' menu with extra sides if needed. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

After going to the hub box in Truro, loads of friends were raving about the original in st Ives and we had to check it out - it wa amazing! As students, it suits us down to the ground and the styling I the brand and its identity gives the place a really cool and quirky feel whilst deliverin top quality, good value meals. Brilliant place, even we in falmouth travel just for the burgers.
