Description: The Hub St Ives is situated in the heart of the town, we are a well established feature on the harbour front and an essential stop off for great coffee, fabulous cakes and amazing food. In the evening we are the ideal place for fantastic burgers or just to sip cocktails or sample one of our local and international craft beers and watch the world go by. We have a modern menu of really delicious burgers made in house from aged Cornish rare breed beef supplied by the fabulous Phillip Warrens of Launceston. Lobster Rolls when in season and daily seasonal specials. Our hot dogs are New York style but produced in the UK using 100% free range pork, oak smoked and seasoned with paprika, nutmeg & black pepper. Our burger and hot dog buns are produced by artisan 'Baker Tom' and delivered fresh everyday. As you can see our food is something we are fiercely proud of. Breakfast served between 9am and 11am Main menu served from 12noon Kitchen closes 9pm Bar open until late

Just been to the hub. Really impressed with the wonderful choice. The ribs and the mac burger were to die for. Also impressed with the kids menu, with good quality ingredients used. My grandaughter loved the freshly prepared macaroni cheese. This restaurant should appeal to anyone young or old , who love good food in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. I intend to visit lots of times, so I can try everything on the menu.!!!!!

We are regular visitors to the Hub, but recently have returned with friends after hearing about their new menu and what was great before - is even better now.

The food menu has a really American feel to it - and the quality ids excellent - amazing burgers, the most sublime Ribs we have ever had - literally melt in the mouth - Mac and Cheese, home made slaw, onion rings - just really relaxed but brilliantly done.

We went in with another family and tried the sharing trays - served on metal baking trays (really nice unusual touch) with combinations of burgers, dogs, slaw, really crispy home made fries and mac and cheese - the Mac and cheese is served in a old style enamel pie dish - again a really nice touch with old style metal plates (the white ones with blue piping) .

Not had anything like it in any restaurant before and we all thoroughly enjoyed it - there is a kids menu as well - fresh burgers, fish and chips.

There are also other choices across the menu - but the burgers, ribs, sharing trays - absolutely lept out at us and not only looked amazing but tasted fantastic.

We've been to places like TGIs before and had a rack of ribs where you pick away for ages trying to find some decent meat - but the Ribs at Hub were stunning. 3 Ribs with an inch thick later of wonderfully cooked pork - the waitress told us the flavour and smoke their own ribs and they didn't disappoint.

A family sharing tray (which had more than enough for 2 adults and 2 kids was £24.95 and includes free soft drink for the kids).

We were really blown away - and thoroughly enjoyed it - great food, not fussy but cooked brilliantly - a very relaxed approach to food and one we loved.

From a drinks point of view - a great range of beer (well we were eating dogs and burgers) including some nice American Imported beers and IPA's.

Highly recommended!!!

We will be back as there is a lot more we want to try!!!!!!!

Ok im a bit of a fan of the hub but its worth shouting about when its this good.
I previously tried the Big Kahuna burger and loved it, so on very rare occasion to go out on the town with a few mates and family thought id try something different. So went for the Chilli Cheese Burger and was not disappointed. It was fantastic some amazing smoked flavour came through, the chill just had enough heat. I cant wait to go in there for another one! Fantastic officially the best burgers in Cornwall!! Oh yeah and they had a really good selection of beers, the harbour brewing co. IPA was lush!

Visited a few times now with my family over the summer and recently last week and we love it!!! The views are perfect and the food is always tasty! The hub burger is definitely enough to fill any appetite and the family atmosphere is great too! I love that it serves food all day which is perfect with young mouths to feed that like to eat early! The food is consistently really great and good value too with really generous portions. Definitely worth stopping by for a visit!!

We took a lunchtime trip to St Ives intending to visit Blas Burgerworks however on finding it closed during the day opted for The Hub instead. The place has a cool contemporary look with great views from the upstairs balcony. You choose a table and order from the bar; staff were friendly and efficient. The menu is largely American style with a range of burgers, nachos milkshakes and hot dogs. A big Kahuna burger included two patties, pulled pork, onion rings and barbeque sauce. Falafel burger was spicy but a little heavy. The highlight was chilli cheese chips, beautifully served in enamel dishes. All were served with thin cut fires, a tasty coleslaw and red onion salad. Presentation is thoughtful and a little different. Definitely one to try of your in the mood for a burger.
