chicken supreme- chicken quarter on mash spuds, served in a bowl full of gravy which turned the spud into soup! ever tried cutting chicken in soup in the bottom of a deep bowl!!? may suggest the chef tries it.

We went for an evening meal and chose the carvery which was excellent and great value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone but pre book first as it gets very busy

Good food and a lovely carvery, lots of options and good portion size. the only major issue was the parking

We went for a Sunday carvery in August (group of 13 of us, including children) as some of our party had dined there the year before and were blown away at how nice the carvery was. We did pre-book because there were so many of us, but they seemed to cope with numbers when people who hadn't pre-booked turned up. Well we were not disappointed, plate piled high with meats, no scrimping on portions here! Service was impeccable, couldn't fault our time there. Good value at £10 per head (adult) carvery meal for how much food we got and what good quality (no soggy veg here!). If we're ever down that neck of the woods again we will certainly make efforts to visit the Badger inn again. Don't think you'll be disappointed!
