We were visiting St Ives for the day and decided to take and early lunch in the Sloop Inn as they had what looked like fresh fish on the menu and a great position over the harbour. We were able to order quickly and the menu looked good.
The food came and both dishes were disappointing. The Lemon Sole looked microwaved as were the potatoes it was serve with. The fish cakes contained relatively little fish and had prawns in even though they were not listed on the menu.
Later that afternoon my friend became ill and very sick. We can obviously not attribute this 100% to the food but it would seem likely.
