We stayed for three nights from 22nd September and had a really warm welcome from Justin, Julie and Prince Gorgeous George, PGG being a bit of a local celebrity!! The accommodation is spotlessly clean, crisp white sheets and good sized en-suite with tea and coffee, hair dryer and TV in the room. Breakfast is plentiful with enough choice to cater for all including gluten free but be sure to call before hand to let Justin know.
On our first night it was suggested that we watch the sunset from the 'island' and so excited were our hosts that they joined us for the experience to ensure we got the best view!
This really is a great place to stop, just a few minutes walk from the town centre, everything you need to rest and most of all it is run by two people who will do all they can to ensure you get the most from your stay. We enjoyed it so much we've booked a return trip next March

We had already been in St Ives for a week in a flat but wanted a few more days to catch the Show of Hands concert & The Spot The Artist Postcard sale (we had come down specifically for the festival). We chose the Olive Branch as it was only a few doors down from the flat and we are so glad we did. Justin and Julie work hard to make this a relaxed and friendly place to stay. The rooms are simply and tastefully furnished, with good views, powerful showers and very comfy beds. Spotlessly clean too. Breakfasts are great and when we had to leave at 6am for the postcard art sale, Julie made us (without us asking) a packed breakfast complete with flask of coffee which we thought was a thoughtful gesture. Justin is a great host with cutting wit and always ready with a joke, comment or a weather forecast ("it will be fine!") He and Julie both made us feel very welcome - as did George the dog. The Olive Branch has parking and is just a 10 minute walk from the town centre - and you to not need to drive through the centre of St Ives to get there (avoid driving through St Ives at all costs - it is not designed for cars!). We both very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again.

We stayed two nights at The Olive Branch at the beginning of the music festival in September. The room was spotless, the en-suit was small but perfect, we had a sea view and the breakfast was lovely. The only thing I would warn against is that if you are not fit and able - you might find the climb back up the hill a bit much, and also the stairs. But otherwise I couldn't fault it and the host Justin was really lovely and went out of his way to be helpful.

Room Tip: Only saw our room which was on top floor.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband John.given a very friendly welcome as soon as we pulled up on the drive.plenty of off road parking for hubbys beloved motorbike.we stayed in room 5, decent size and good size en-suite with powerful shower.tea making facilities and hair dryer supplied.very quiet street and within 10 minute walking distance of harbour and main streets.Justin made sure we were well taken care of with choice of breakfast (with help from lovely Victoria in the kitchen) and with helpfull advice for sightseeing and bus numbers etc. We were also given fab advice on nice places to eat and drink.I honestly can't wait to go back next year and John has already booked to go back next month (unfortunately without me) thanks again Justin.

Visited with my wife and stayed for two nights. We stayed in room 2 which was spotlessly clean with a superb power shower. The hosts Justin & Julie are a lovely couple, they made us very welcome throughout our stay. Justin is very helpful with local knowledge and ideas for days out. Try the open topped bus trip to Lands End and Penzance, beautiful scenery and extremely good value. Julie provided our breakfast which were delicious. On the whole our visit to St Ives was enhanced by the superb accomodation and excellent hosts. Thank you again.

We had great time at The Olive Branch.
Justin and Julie are the perfect hosts. Very friendly, helpful and they make you feel at home.
Breakfast is amazing with so many choices for all kind of hunger.
Rooms are all you need with comfy beds and unspotted clean.
Location is great. Just 5 mins walk from the town centre (10 mins uphill to come back).
Moreover St. Ives is a beautiful tiny town and its beaches are absolutely gorgeous.
We highly reccomend this place. If we come back again to Cornwall we'll stay at The Olive for sure.
