We had tried a few times to get into Blas but as you cannot book, it was always a bit of a lottery. Fortunately on our last trip to St Ives we managed to get in and were not disappointed, as the burgers were excellent and the house wine was great value.

The place is quite small, hence the reasons why its so difficult to get in. The relaxed atmosphere is helped by the use of shared large tables, which frequently means you end up in conversation with other diners on your table.

Have not hesitation in recommending it and look forward to trying a different burger on our next visit

My other half only has one or two burgers a year (usually at the Four Seasons Hotels) and he loved it! It's a burger joint but the food is organic, creative and very tasty! Staff is friendly, quick and keeps track of the small space so everyone is comfortable.

Dropped in on spec Sunday lunch time, ordered from the extensive vegetarian section of the menu (spoiled for choice!). Two halloumi stacks, portion of chips, aioli, horseradish and roast garlic mayo later, washed down with Whole Earth fizzys and we were well satisfied. Delicious food, prepared and served with care and style by a small team in a quirky little basement-vibe room. Fully recommend!

Heard great reviews of this place and wanted something quick and tasty for our first night stay in St Ives and we were not let down at all. Warning though it does get very busy and you might have to share a table with strangers and it closes at 9.30 on a Friday!

Burgers were tasty and quick to arrive, in particular the Truffle Burger. Felt some of the staff could have been more welcoming is the only negative.

Read the reviews and the recommendations sounded great. Arrived at a reasonably quiet time 6.30ish and tables looked available. Only the 2 of us wanting a simple, quick meal. How disappointed then, that we turned away and told nothing available! It's a shame we never got to sample the food, but having tasted the attitude of the staff, I don't really think we missed a great experience. First negative of a wonderful stay in St Ives :-(
