We visited on a wet, windy. & cold evening, received a warm welcome & quick efficient service. The house wine was lovely & reasonably priced. Large portions, dauphinois to die for! We had 2 starters, 2 mains with side orders, 2 soft drinks, a bottle of wine & 2 Irish coffees for £74, well worth it. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our second time here and blissfully child free. Had such a lovely meal, couldn't fault it. Wonderful squid to start, fish kebab for main and to die for crumble for pudding. We're here for another night and can't imagine we'll find a restaurant as nice as this. Could be just that I chose well but who cares, we loved it.

Had a wonderful meal here last Saturday. Loads of choice for seafood lovers! The pic n mix fish at the counter is great too- customers can choose their fish, sauces, and sides. We shared three starters between the two of us and had two beers and the bill was £23- great value! It was really busy but the staff were still really attentive and friendly. Will definitely be returning!

Had quite ancient meal. If i am honest we have had better. We ordered bread and oils (bread tough and balsamic like tar), steak and dauphinois potatoes (nice - steak bait over), plaice and new potatoes (fish good, didn't like rosemary and oils on potatoes), lovely crime brûlée (beautifully presented). Service slow. It looks good from outside but there are better places to go.

We were on a day visit and booked about 2 hours prior to eating. We had excellent service from booking to welcome to serving from at least three of the delightful staff. The food was fresh and well cooked and reasonably good value. Perhaps a little formulaic but I would go again if I was in the area.
