We stayed for a long weekend at the Wagon House it comfortably accommodated three couples having two en-suite bathrooms and a family bathroom
Spacious living areas and well equipped kitchen outside garden area with big table and chairs
One mile away from the Cornish Arms good selection of beer larger cider and tons of guns
Two and a half miles away from the beautiful Port Isaac
We all had a wonderful time with thanks to Angela and Phil .
I rented this property for four days after Easter with my sister, my mum and her sister. It was absolutely perfect. There was everything in the house that you would need and more. The house was warm, clean and so comfortable. If I was lucky enough to visit Cornwall again I would certainly stay here.
My sister booked this property for 4 of us and we thoroughly our stay here. It was fully equipped with all you could need. Hairdryer in all 3 bedrooms, plenty of cutlery and tableware. It was spotlessly clean on arrival with fresh milk in the fridge and short bread biscuits too. There were games, jigsaws and books to use also. We would highly recommend Wagon House.
Very peaceful and conveniently located. A 5 minute drive into Port Isaac (turn left onto road as you leave the cottage, which takes you into Port Gaverne then Port Isaac). Within easy reach of Padstow, Polzeith, St Austell, Portquinn and Tintagel, to name just a few interesting and worthwhile places to visit. It is an hour's drive to the Eden Projenct which is also worth a visit!
The cottage itself is clean and spacious with a lovely outside area complete with garden furniture which easily seats 6-8 people.
The kitchen is a good size with ample work surfaces and is well equipped. The only thing missing was a tumble dryer, which would have been invaluable as the weather wasn't warm enough to hang anything out to dry. Children's bathers and beach towels etc had to be dried indoors which was a bit of a nuisance.
The power showers were wonderful and there was lashings of hot water at all times! Having 3 bathrooms between 6 people was very handy!
We had a wonderful holiday!
Great place to stay, to relax and unwind after a day's sightseeing around Cornwall. The owners were out when we arrived but had sent the code for the keysafe so that we could get in. We settled in to a couple of packets of Cornish shortbread biscuits, courtesy of the owner, Angela, who then brought us a lovely sponge cake she had made! Lovely touch!. The cottage is very well equipped with TV, DVD player, cooker, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine, plus all the usual cooking, cleaning & ironing utensils and other materials you would need! Plenty of crockery and cutlery too. There are three bedrooms, two of which are en-suite and the third next door to the family bathroom - so essentially each bedroom has its own bathroom! There is a living room upstairs and a large dining table and chairs for those evening meals. All in all a fabulous place to stay. Definitely recommended!
Great place to explore cornwall from we went to places that we hadn,t seen before even though we have been coming down here for over 30 years
I loved this place because it was a sheep and cattle farm. The lambs had recently been born and even though you couldn't approach them they were adorable to see. There was our own little group of eight or so right across the drive from our accommodation and I visited them and petted them every morning. The owner of the farm even let me feed one with a bottle and was very friendly. The house itself was satisfactory. not all kitchen items were there as we had come to expect at other rentals in Cornwall and it was difficult for us as Americans to use the washing machine and tvs without instructions.
