Great location to visit, Port Isaac, Padstow, Bude, Newquay and much more.
Hendra barn is perfect, we were greeted by Angela and Phil who showed us round showed us how to use the heating and lit the log burner for us. There was a wonderful Victoria sandwich waiting for us which was a lovely treat. Both bed rooms and en-suites were decorated lovely, the beds were very very comfortable, wardrobes drawers and bedside tables in both rooms so plenty of room for clothes etc. The kitchen was really well equipped there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't there. Every where was soo clean and it was lovely and warm throughout our stay. This is superb accommodation which I would recommend to anyone ( all the little lambs were a bonus).
Devon farm living at first hand. Seeing a real farm in action was fascinating. Did not meet host but husband Phil was helpful and accommodating.
Adequate but not glamorous accommodation. Bedrooms below living area made sleeping impossible after first person woke. bathrooms tiny and little room for bags, clothes etc. Probably a better spot for summer beach goers.
This is a lovely place from which to explore North Cornwall - cake, teabags and milk is always a welcome sight after a long journey and this comfortable accommodation made out late autumn getaway perfect

Booked for a week during half term for our family of 5. Everything about the Hendra Barn was perfect - we arrived late evening after having a lengthy journey down from Yorkshire and were greeted by a beautifully warm and welcoming cottage with a divine Victoria sponge cake and a birthday card for our little boy who was turning 5 the following day. The location is only a half an hours walk from the beautiful coastline of Port Isaac and ideal for anyone wanting to explore the surrounding villages and towns. Although we did not meet Angela we did meet her husband Phil who took our 5 year old out in his tractor - the highlight of his holiday! The contact with Angela up until our stay and the personal touches of this perfectly idealistic cottage made our half term holiday a week to remember! Thank you Angela and Phil - I'm sure we will be back!
The owners were most welcoming, including the dogs, who made a big fuss of us. The cottage is on a working farm and is well appointed providing everything you need. They even provided a delightful Victoria sponge. We traveled in October with warm sunny days quickly turning to cold clear nights. The heating is excellent and quickly made every room toasty and cosy. You definitely need a car as the local pubs are welcoming but not really walkable. Take time to walk outside after dark, The Milky Way is very bright and visible, because there is little light pollution.
We spent a very tranquil week at this lovely little cottage, fully equipped with all we needed...and a wonderful CAKE! Plenty to do locally, Port Isaac is everything we wanted it to be! No local pubs within walking distance but the St Kew is well worth the drive. The heating in the cottage was brilliant warm within minutes, Cosy! An outside light at the front of the property at night would be good,it was very dark. For a step off the planet, recharge your batteries, autumnal break..this beautifully presented cottage has it all! Highly recommended
We stayed here for 2 weeks as a family holiday.
Beautiful cake awaiting us on arrival which was very much appreciated after a very long, traffic filled journey from Yorkshire.
We were greeted by Paul who showed us around the cottage and gave us some helpful information regarding pubs and local routes.
Our dogs loved the little garden and felt at home straight away, and quick made friends with the resident dogs.
Would highly recommend.
