walking the coast path and tromping in, in mud and wet, we received nothing but welcome from chris and kim and more importantly a big bowl of perfect soup. didn't take in the rest of the menu at the time, but later had a chance to, and would have eaten anything on it given the chance. all fresh, generous, well thought out, and on the table in < 10 mins. we walked back to get a cream tea (note you're not supposed to retrace on the coast path, it's not really the point). they also sorted transport for us, including chasing it up the road. additional note: if you ever go to port isaac, make sure you employ mark of the port isaac shuttle to take you somewhere, anywhere. what a hoot, he made our holiday
