“Revisited as so good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2014

Revisited as last time was so good. My husband once again throughly enjoyed a crab sandwich and this time I had lobster salad. This was the best lobster since moving to Cornwall more than 8 years ago, beautifully prepared and presented with pot of mayo, roll and plenty of butter and lovely salad (with avocado). Good selection of drinks, great staff and loads of goodies to buy in the shop

“Great to buy genuinely local produce.”

Local fish, and great that when you ask how to cook the fish or ask for recommendations, you are given good advice. Reasonable prices too.

“Now that's what you call fresh!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2014

Really fresh crab & lobster salads, was even shown how to deconstruct a Lobster. Fresh live ones were being brought in as we ate!

“Simple, delicous and value for money”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2014 via mobile

A small cafe bistro at the top of the hill which is well worth stopping at either on the way down to the port on as we did on the way back.

We had whole Lobster salad and prawn sandwiches.
We also had a ham sandwich.

Every part of the meal was fresh and tasty, we had not 1 complaint and our plates were cleared.

We were served by one of the owners who it turns out is the fisherman, a very friendly man who had been at sea that morning since 5am and was still here working at 7.30pm. Not a single moan in sight and he was happy to answer questions about fishing....

£38.00 total for 3 of us to eat with drinks, weve paid this for 1 lobster in other places!!

Seriously worth a visit for simple great food.
