We visited Port Isaac on a rainy day in September and decided to stop at the Slipway for lunch. My wife had lobster and I had the sea bass. The sea food was superb not overly fancy the ingredients do the talking. We will definitely call again.

Pleasant enough place to have a sit down, a drink and watch the world go by. Good quick service from the waitress.

Spent a couple of evenings at the Slipway. It was lovely to sit and watch the world go by. Port Isaac is a lovely place and sitting outside in the wonderful sunshine that we had it made our week.

Ate here on holiday last week, it was a glorious sunny day and the outside seating looked so inviting and the location is lovely but now I perhaps realise why there were empty tables at such busy time. The menu looked tempting and practically being on the beach, you would expect fresh seafood. However my sea bass fillet was overcooked and didnt look or taste fresh and the mushy minted peas were cold. My husband had squid which were some battered large rings which looked like they had come out of the freezer and didnt taste very nice. Overall we were very disappointed in the food and it didnt represent value for money. Probably best just having a drink there and soaking up the atmosphere.

going to Slipway is a very enjoyable evening. We parked in the car park at the top of the hill near the Edge restaurant and had a lovely walk down into Port isaac. The ambience is good in the Slipway and although the choice on the menu is a bit limited we enjoyed our food and the service was good too. Overall a very enjoyable evening out
