Three lovely days at the Old School Hotel. Not stayed there before but will certainly be going back. Comfortable room, good breakfast, excellent restaurant, friendly staff, perfect location, couldn't want for anything else. 10/10.

My wife and I being fans of doc Martin chose port Isaac to spend our ruby wedding anniversary. So glad we did. The hotel is so quirky yet lovely. We selected the Latin room because of the amazing views of the harbour. The staff there were amazing and so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. The location is port Isaac was spectacular. We would love to go back again sometime perhaps for our 50th. Lol

Stopped here for lunch and loved the way they have retained some of the aspects of the old school, naming their rooms after school subjects, and having a set of those little coat-pegs we all remember from primary school. The fish and chips were the best I've eaten for a long time, and my friends said the same about the mussels and the salad. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for a meal.

I so wanted to give 5 stars but the rooms were a bit scruffy round the edges. The finishing of what was a well set out room was poor. Cracked painted on the walls and poor quality in the first place, but the windows in Biology were either to high or low to make the most of the stunning view outside.
Staff were uniformly friendly. We had a good meal at the restaurant. Breakfast was good too. So come on go back and sort the painting out!
