We have been here before and the menu is good and the views stunning. Good choice of wines but it's just a shame they don't sell doom bar beer

We called into the tide at 11.57am and the barman was a little disgruntled as they 'don't open till 12 noon! He allowed us in and we took a table at the window with wonderful views. We both ordered our coffees and they were promptly served with a smile. Our meals were served quickly and were really good. Julie ordered the jacket potato with prawns and I had the Ploughmans. I was not disappointed. They use the very best local produce and he food is superbly presented and there's plenty of it too.
Well done to The Edge, Port Isaac for a truly wonderful place to stop and eat.

We have been to The Edge several times over the years, and the standard has always been good, sometimes very good. In the last year or so, it seems to have moved up a gear, and you can now rely on really good food at a reasonable price. At our last visit, I had the catch of the day (haddock) in beer batter, with chips and mushy peas, and it was delightfully presented, piping hot and delicious. My wife and one of our friends had one of the special dishes of the day, which was plaice with a compote of tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic and lemon; they thought it was very good indeed. Starters (carrot and coriander soup, mushrooms with a creamy garlic sauce) and desserts (zabaglione) were all excellent. Service was efficient and friendly, the room was warm on a very cold evening, the ambience cheerful, busy, pleasant. Altogether a delightful experience.

The Edge is at the top of Port Isaac. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had lunch there and it was the best Jacket potato and Burger we’ve had!! So we decided to have our evening meal there too. The portions were good the only complaint we had was: Starter; the Olives were ‘very’ salty and there was no oil with the balsamic vinegar. We would recommend visitors to eat here.
