The owners of this B&B were very apprehensive when we said we had found them on trip advisor, they were concerned that visitors would be expecting more than they felt they offered.....They are number 2 for B&Bs within 5 miles of Port Isaac and i now know why.
Their home is not pearched on a hill overlooking a beautiful bay, it is in a small private road, but there is no noise, the bedrooms are clean, the beds comfy and there is a tea tray, biscuits, ironing board fridge real milk and water......most b&bs do not do the real milk and water thing but it is much appreciated by travellers like my husband and i.
Breakfast was very good, there is a choice of cooked breakfasts, fresh fruit salad and cereals, more than enough choice and well cooked and presented.
The owners Nab and Linda are very friendly people more than happy to help make your stay go well. We would return if ever in the area again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Room Tip: we had the back double room, with a lovely window onto the garden.

What a pity that writing about this gem of a B&B, means that it will become ever more popular, when I would like to keep this one to myself. Nab & Linda excellent friendly hosts........breakfast selection to die for.......excellent rooms in a quiet location, overlooking open countryside. Probably the best B&B I've stayed at, over several years walking the south west coastal path.

Plus points: Well decorated rooms, super clean, very homely, amazing hosts, one of the best breakfasts ever!

Minus points: Not easy to find (even with google maps!), a few miles from Port Issac.

We were in Port Isaac for a wedding in September and were lucky enough to spend one night at Lane End Farm. Nab and Linda are two of the best hosts that you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting and we really enjoyed chatting to them. It's a shame for all of us that they want to wind things down and enjoy retirement soon (that's why you'll only find them mentioned on this site and no where else so sorry for advertising you even more!!!).

Nab was kind enough to give us a lift to the wedding and when we got up in the morning we were presented with an amazing breakfast in a lovely room downstairs. Lot's of fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey was followed by a really good cooked breakfast with (although I did miss beans because I didn't notice that you had to order them especially).

We would definitely go back if we're ever down in the area again.

Stayed here one night while visiting Port Isaac and Tintagel. Affordable, very hospitable, nice room, great breakfast. What more could you ask for?

Lane End B & B is one of those delightful little treasures that you come upon once in while. A First Rate establishment tucked at the end of a peaceful lane about 3 miles from the charming fishing village of Port Isaac. From the minute you arrive to the moment you leave Nab and Linda's hospitality is second to none. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and spacious, with a full sized ensuite and all the added extras that you could possibly wish for including a whisper quiet fridge inside the room. Breakfast was fabulous with the best local produce and a wide choice available, I had the locally caught Mackrel one morning which was truly cooked to perfection! Nab and Linda are delightful hosts and know how to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I will definitely be returning next year.

From the weather forecast printout waiting on your breakfast table to the large scale maps and bus timetables in the welcome folder, the folks at Lane End Farm really have the needs of guests figured out. The welcome from our host, Nab, was one of the warmest we've had at a B&B.

Although the property has no particular historic charm, our room was excellent, with a huge bed, ensuite shower, TV and ample tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was first rate.

Lane End Farm is tucked down a lane, three minutes walk from the Cornish Arms pub, which serves good - if not cheap - Thai food. The location makes a reasonable base for visiting Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle.
