Such a lovely little cafe, worth the walk up the hill! The tea is lovely, the staff are so friendly and the home made cakes are amazing - best carrot cake I have ever had! Highly recommended.

What an amazing night we’ve had tonight. The Cornish Cove is a real treasure tearoom by day but on a Friday night they put on an Indian night, home cooked curries and starters, fully licensed, a real treat. Hubby and I both agreed it was delicious food with really personal service. Can not recommend enough. Thank you Mel. Jackie and Duncan

Called for a late lunch whilst visiting Port Isaac simply because we happened to walk past. And very glad we did. The frittata was delicious, a pity I didn't have room for a pud as the cakes looked delicious as well. Definitely worth a visit, and so much nicer than the somewhat overpriced places down at the bottom of the hill. If you are in Port Isaac I recommend a visit.

We loved this little place and i wish we went every day!!
A cute and quaint little cafe that serves food as well as tea and cakes. We had tea and scones which included a scone each and a pot of tea each and it was £10. You get a generous serving of jam and clotted cream between two people.

Lovely service!!

We had seen the story of the Cornish Cove's Indian Night online and thought what a lovely idea this was to offer something different in Port Isaac. We have visited the Village at least 14 times over the past few years and like to support all the businesses there. (It is a shame that we read that there is some opposition to this locally).

We were welcomed on arrival and enjoyed a very special private dining experience and the food was exceptional too!

We were also treated to a more traditional dessert from the wide selection of sweet treats available, with Cornish ice cream.

We have no hesitation in recommending the Cornish Cove and its owner Mel for making us feel welcome and for such amazing food!

It is, though, a shame that there has been some local opposition and that someone who is trying to bring diversity and choice to a village is appreciated more by visitors than by fellow residents of the Village.

Change to any village, town or city is inevitable and so those who try to oppose this are, in effect, putting the thriving Village's, let alone their own, future at risk.

PS. I have no connection with the owner and this is just my own personal opinion, just in case there were any cynics out there who may have thought otherwise !
