Spectacular views and accommodation in Port Isaac isn't cheap, thanks to Doc Martin. But the bedroom and the bathroom were at least two years behind a much needed renovation. Shower head full of grime. Everything felt a bit dated. Breakfast was too average for the price.

I and my family stayed at this special place on the 31st of July and 1st of August 2012.
Warm welcome and super position on the cliff, over the sea, with a view on the small harbour.
We were so lucky having had the possibility to get the room with a view on the sea, and how fascinating was looking at the quick tide movement from the window. Never seen such a thing before! Nature, sea, good sea foods in the restaurants on the harbour.
The Landlady was very kind and cooked for us fantastic breakfasts.
I recommend this special place for the attentions received during our stay and for the excellent position inside the nature.

A beautiful spot to stay for 2 nights. The village was gorgeous, the roads into the village and up to Hathaway were frighteningly narrow, but we survived. Marion our hostess was lovely and we were able to sit in the garden on a swing seat and read and enjoy a Cornwall Devonshire tea. Recommend the walk from Hathaway along the coastline to Port Quin. Hathaway is located on the same road as Doc Martins house. Full English breakfast at 9am, rooms clean with ensuite and tea/coffee making facilities.
Only downside is no air con- it was very warm in the room during the day (2nd floor), luckily an evening breeze cooled it down.

Room Tip: Rooms 1 and 3 have sea views.

Port Isaac was the beginning of our Cornwall holiday. What a start! You immediately fall in love with this B&B and their hosts. The only thing we heard were the seagulls' "laughter" almost 24h a day! It's all quiet and if the weather allows so, you may spend an afternoon in the lovely garden.
We tick fitness center as excellent because you may get fitness for free when walking along the cliffs... If you option to do so before breakfast, make sure you're back on time! the most delicious breakfast awaits you to get you back on your feet!

We stayed two nights at Hathaway Guest House in Port Isaac. Our room overlooked the bay and was very comfortable. The Victorian house was gorgeous and we really enjoyed sitting out front and absorbing the view. Both Marion and her husband were very friendly and anything you needed was available.

The drive up to the house was quite an experience. You had to drive through the little village and at times pedestrians had to step into a shop to let you get by. The turn on to the "laneway" leading up to the house was tricky but we managed it and after driving in and out a few times we realised it was easy. We had read about the drive on Tripadvisor so we were prepared.

Port Isaac is a lovely quiet town. If you go there visit Tintagel and climb up to the castle - it is a wonderful experience and the view spectacular. We loved Cornwall and thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Hathaway Guest House.

We spent one week in the self-catering flat. What a quaint and lovely place to stay. It had everything we needed and more. Open plan kitchen/sitting area and a sectioned-off bedroom also a good sized bathroom. Very comfy all round and very clean. We loved it. There is a sitting area on the flat roof which can be accessed from the flat - a MUST SEE. Marion and here husband were helpful and made you welcome. It's got to be one of the best places in Port Isaac. Hope to go again.

We unfortunately didn't stay here but we did sample their cream teas.
What a treat!! The setting is fantastic and the cream teas outstanding. The clotted cream was like eating ice cream but at room temperature. INDULGE YOURSELF!!
