I would wholeheartedly recommend the tapas at the Noughts and Crosses, they have an excellent chef who produced authentic dishes. The large menu offers a great choice, would really recommend the fish stew, tempura vegetables, chorizo. The service was really friendly and the owner told us he may make his own chorizo in future. Will definitely go back when next in Polperro.

We stayed in Polperro for a week, and visited The Noughts and Crosses take away service more times than we should! The fish and chips were amazing, cooked while we waited and was super fresh and tasty. Polite, friendly helpful staff. Would recommend to everyone!

We had been to three Cornish Villages this weekend (October) and I confess to being thoroughly disappointed to the similarity of the 'fayre'. Therefore, on a trip to delightful Polperro, I was persuaded to go to the Tapas restaurant and how grateful I am that i did. Far and away the most delicious food since our arrival - Tempura vegetables that were delicious, wonderful spanish omlette (nicer than I had on a recent trip to Spain), beautifully light crab cakes, meatballs that again blew away the spanish competition... just lovely. And a great wine selection too. The interior was light and airy and modern and full of white walls and blonde wood...again, a lovely contrast to the relentless 'olde world' alternative.

Absolutely worth going to

Very friendly though unobtrusive service, spotlessly clean with comfortable booths. Whiled away part of a holiday afternoon with a plate of tapas and a few drinks. Recommended.
