A lovely atmosphere and great service on a busy Thursday evening. A great variety of of food on offer including a large specials selection. Food was perhaps a bit more 'pubby' than we had hoped for but all was well received.

“Overpriced”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

Food was average but overpriced. service ok. the waitress had to be asked four times for a jug of water. The building and bar is rustic but the experience was disappointing.

“Shelter from the rain”

After getting drenched on the coast walk from Looe to Polperro we stopped in for some warming soup before getting the bus back. The soup was excellent and the service was swift & friendly.

“Excellent”

This restaurant has had mixed reviews. Me and my family have been to Polperro six times and have ate at the Crumplehorn every day ( and every time we stayed for a week or five days) .

The service was amazing. The waiters and waitresses are very polite. They are very reasonable and generally make the experience pleasant.

The food is served within generally no more than twenty minutes of ordering. They have a great range and change there menu and specials regularly. They have an array of sized meals and some tasty ones at that. They have the best meals in the area in my opinion. Its rear that they run out of a particular meal but when they do it's just because it sold well. The children's menu is much better than most places because they don't just have sausages and chicken nuggets.

Value is great. They have large metals so don't be put off by high prices.

Ignore any terrible, poor or average reviews! This place is much better than those reviews.
