Liked least: Would have preferred to have had a clearer view of the sea, this was obscured by the hydrangeas.

“An excellent short stay break”
Reviewed July 30, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

My wife and I have just spent a glorious few days at Little Tresillion- the flat was clean, cosy with everything needed for a self catering holiday.
Tamsin the owner greeted us cheerily with a sumptuous cream tea and was most obliging and helpful throughout our stay.
On reading the previous occupants comments we were most surprised and could not agree with them.
This was a perfect Self Catering holiday flat with all the amenities you would expect and maintained to a very high standard.Thank you Tamsin for a .great stay

“Sadly...after the change in ownership, I won't be returning...”
Reviewed July 17, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Having had a wonderful stay in this holiday let last August, when the previous owner was on site; this stay was ruined by the noise from the current owners. This included almost constant 'yapping' from a small but noisy dog, which seemed to be left alone for long periods of time, plus an awful lot of noise from the current owners and/or their guests. At several points during the stay - it sounded as if someone was being murdered! Such an awful shame, since this (was) such a delightful property, in an ideal (and peaceful) location. A neighbourhood where the residents respect privacy and peace.

On entering the property at the time of arrival (following a 270 mile journey, with significant health challenges), we were greeted by a coffee machine with a bright yellow label attached to the coffee pod holder, requesting a 35p charge, to be left in the tin provided, should we wish to use the machine!! We were left 1 toilet roll (for two people, for 7 nights!! - thankfully, I had packed our own supplies). We were also 'rationed' on bin liners - again, I had packed our own. The property was quite unclean - with spider webs in many places, dead insects and food particles between the kitchen cupboards and around the edges of the floors. I am very vulnerable to serious infection (sepsis) and cleanliness is paramount. I did not come to a holiday let (which I had re-booked, knowing the previous owner had kept the property very clean) to clean!

I found the current owner to be quite 'nosey' also. We (with my daughter, who has just finished her GCSEs, whilst caring for me through life threatening illness) just wanted to enjoy a peaceful break, which (living on a small occupational pension, as a medically retired Nurse), I had saved and prepared for all year.

Thoroughly disappointed!!

“Comfy property in a handy location with everything you need for your stay”

I enjoyed my stay in this roomy modern annexe to the adjoining dorma bungalow on the edge of a quiet extension to the village above the main old village of Polperro. It had a nice outside decked area (but it could do with a little bit of TLC) facing towards the sea less than half a mile away and a parking spot right outside the door. The house is away from the main village of Polperro, which is what I wanted, but within ten minutes walk downhill into the picturesque (and very busy) village with loads of eating places (4 pasty shops!) and several pubs. The friendly owner, Tamsin, is happy to advise on them and the eateries in the area. It's within easy reach of the South West Coastal Path which is about 400m away (and the reason that I chose it) and a bus stop giving access to other areas where the coastal path is, is just up (or down) the road. The property is roomy for 2 (in my case,1) and comfortable with loads of wardrobe space in the bedroom and a comfy big bed and a good bathroom with bath and separate shower and a separate w.c. It basically has all the amenities you need, home or away and there's plenty of info on the bookshelf if you're stuck for things to do. Penzance is only about 7 miles away and has 3 big supermarkets for all you needs if the local shop doesn't have them.
