We really loved this modern, yet old-style, town house. It was comfortable, well equipped and well looked after. Everything was clean and it had all the little touches which showed that the owner had thought through all the details. We've stayed in some many places where you had to go out and buy dishwasher tables= here they were already supplied. I would say that the only thing that we missed was a tea cosy!
Penzance is such a great place for a holiday - lots of things to do and see, all within easy range. We made the most of our National Trust membership and saved a small fortune visiting St Michael's Mount and Trengwainton gardens (I hope I've got the name right).
The old heliport has given way to an enormouos Sainsbury's. Some might regard that as a retrograde step but it was very convenient. There's also quite a nice Co-op just up the street.
One word of warning, getting into the parking area requires sobriety and a steady nerve. We came away unscathed!
I'd agree with the others who rated this place 'excellent'
Booking was easy and the owner very pleasant and helpful. House was very clean and in good order. Bed linen was very good and we all had a comfortable night sleep. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Close to all amenities and bus station. Had a great weeks holiday here and would certainly go back.
The house was great, very clean and everything you could wish for, just like home from home
location was really good as we travelled down by train so not to far to walk, and the bus station was close which we used every day. would certainly like to go back
